Not bad, but needs a new bed.

The place would’ve been much better if the beds were more comfortable. The bathroom is function, but they’re incredibly small if you’re a big person.

Don’t judge a book by the cover

I was a bit concerned when I first saw the outside of the building, However I was wrong. It has lots of character, is very comfortable and the staff was VERY helpful and friendly.

Staid here for my trip to Madrid. The hotel is easy to find. They have an elevator to get your luggage up to the 3rd floor where the hotel is. They share the building with other hostals. The staff was friendly and spoke English, but rather reserved. If you are from U.S. this just seems to be a cultural aspect to Madrid. The location is great. If is within 1 mile of every major tourist spot. The only downside is the hotel has marble floor so sound carries very widely and you can hear conversations in nearby rooms. It was very quiet at night however. I had a room away from the plaza and it was quiet at night. They do not have any amenities or a big lobby so it’s basically a room. The room was plain but very clean and comfortable.

homeless people defecating and urinating on plaza area, pick pockets waiting for opportunities, one unkempt guy tried to grab my wallet but I fought back and scared him away! I guess I was just lucky! Great Area! the center of tourism.

La habitación impecable . Limpia con aire acondicionado y calefacción . La cama muy cómoda . Muy bien ubicado el hotel . Desayunamos en oink donde vendían sándwiches de jamón ibérico. En la esquina hay una pastelería donde venden un tarta con pistacho . En el front desk muy amables y con ganas de ayudar siempre . El servicio de limpieza muy educadas . Mi única sugerencia en la noche sonaba en el techo como que cayeran gotas . No caía agua pero sonaba duro y era molestos
