High above the bay of Porto S. Stefano on Monte Argentario a dream house, from three terraces you have a wonderful view of the sea and the harbor.

At the back of the house leads a staircase into the enchanted garden with pool, old olive trees, lemon trees, flower-covered stone walls, lit in the evening ... the host is a garden lover. In the back of the garden you can enjoy the sun undisturbed.
Above the house sits a garden shed, with a small bedroom with double bed (1.40), a bathroom and a large terrace.
The house is very sophisticated and pleasantly furnished, modern classics harmonize with beautifully restored old Tuscan furniture; The landlord collects art and antiques.
Four bedrooms with four bathrooms give you the freedom to feel comfortable with a larger family or many friends in this spacious home. The kitchen is well furnished, with all the (electrical) appliances.
You have two parking spaces under the house. And you can directly from the house down a rocky stairway to the bay, down to the public beach.

The coastal road, which encloses the peninsula of Monte Argentario, leads to Porto San Stefano, a lively little port town, on the steep banks of which are many luxurious villas. From here, a car ferry to the beautiful island of Giglio ... (Excerpt from: Bella Maremma, MADAME 9/98)

Just lovely
This property is unbelievably lovely. The views are stunning! Antonella and Luccia, the owners, live below and couldn’t be more helpful and kind if they tried. The space is more than comfortable. There were 6 of us in our party and we had more than enough room. There is a beach right below the property with an interesting pathway down. It’s not for small kids or infirm adults. This pathway also leads into town. The town is small but has everything you need. There are some great seafood restaurants and the ferries to the islands leave from there. We visited the island of Giglio, which I highly recommend for a day outing. There were no pool towels provided, which is odd given there is a private pool for your use. We bought 4 pool towels and left them with the owners for future guests as we could not take them with us. Highly recommend this property but make sure that all costs are thoroughly disclosed on the booking. We ran into some issues but the property manger did resolve the issue in the end. I highly recommend before booking that you check what is and isn’t included with this booking so that there are no surprises when you get there. The property manager also arranged for a chef to come and cook us an authentic Italian dinner one night - this was an amazing experience. I recommend having this experience if you can.

Einfach super. Da große plus ist die wunderbare Aussicht auf Porto Santo Stefano sowie der sehr schön gelegene ,kleine Pool und die Nähe zum kleinen Strand La cantoniera. Die Besitzer Antonella und Lucio , die im Untegeschoss des Hauses wohnen, sehr hilfsbereit.

Great house, wonderful views
The rental property is the very extensive top floors, the owners Lucio and Antonella living downstairs and on hand to help without ever being intrusive. We had Italian speakers with us so communication was easy where otherwise it might have been more of a challenge. Rooms are decent sized, all with aircon and window screens. The Kitchen is brilliantly kitted out and there is a large barbecue outside on the back terrace. The garden is beautifully maintained by the owners and they were kind enough to share lemons, herbs and their home made Limoncino and Arancino, best taken shortly before bed :-) The pool is at the bottom of the garden and is quite small but was so perfect for a dip after visiting the beach and when the heat became too much. Most memorably were the views, either at the front or back terrace, depending on the movement of the sun. The view from the front across the bay , particularly in the morning and for sunset were special. Beach access by foot is easy if you are fit and good on your feet. There are some steep and narrow steps with drops and a walk across some boulders. We were happy to use it but refrained from any night time visits to the beach bar. The beach is small and busy at weekends, recommended. It’s a ten minute walk to the town on the busy main road , again all do-able but care is needed. Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend the house, we were a 6 , all adults but it would easily hold 8 without stress. Regards John Kelly

Woche am Meer
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Porto Santo Stefano. Von den Terrassen im Haus hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Für uns hatte es sehr viel Platz und die Kinder haben ihre Zeit im Pool sehr genossen. Alles in allem haben wir unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen. Kleines Manko ist die doch nahe Straße. Der Autolärm ist tagsüber doch deutlich zu hören. Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass lärmentfindliche Menschen den Aufenthalt nicht genießen können.

Ferienhaus mit schöner Aussicht
Das Haus word im Parterre von den Eigentümern bewohnt, im ersten Stock befinden sich 3 Schlafzimmer, das Wohnzimmer, die Küche, 3 Badezimmer ind zwei Terrassen. Über die Wendeltreppe (nur von Aussen begehbar) gelangt man zum 2. Stock mit Terrasse, Schlafzimmer, Bettsofa, kl. Küche und Badezimmer. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Der Pool ist klein aber fein, der Platz um den Pool etwas knapp bemessen im gemütlich zu verweilen. Wir wurden gebeten, nicht in den Pool zu springen, was mit kleinen Kindern etwas schwierig ist. Der Fussweg zum Strand oder nach Porto Santo Stefano geht einen steilen Schotterweg/Treppenweg herunter und anschliessend über die Klippen/Felswand. Es gibt eine gefährliche Stelle. Der Weg ist auch ohne Kinder abenteuerlich. Zu Fuss sind es ca. 20 Minuten ins Dorf. Ein Ausflug lohnt sich. Der Strand ist klein, bei hohem Wellengang schluckt das Meer den Strand. Es gibt aber zahlreiche andere Strände in der Nähe (mit Auto erreichbar). Das Haus liegt an der Hauptstrasse, die wir recht stark befahren fanden. Das Check-In und Check-Out nimmt seine Zeit in Anspruch. Die netten Eigentümer erzählen gerne von der Geschichte des Hauses und der Umgebung. Was uns fehlte: Bei diesem Preissegment wären Ersatz-WC-Papiereollen, einige Tabs für die Abwaschmaschine, Abwaschmittel, ... wünschenswert gewesen.

An unforgettable experience!
Absolutely gorgeous property with views to die for. The house is spacious and clean. It has everything you need. We are a family of 6 and there was more than enough room. The balconies with the views of Porto Santo Stefano were stunning. The pool is completely clean and perfectly shaded for late afternoon swims after spending the day at the beach. The garden and grounds of the house are well maintained and beautiful. The grapes and lemons were out of this world! The walking path to the beach is short but steep and may be difficult for children and those with limited mobility... but is so worth it! You have to drive into Santo Stefano as the road is unsafe to walk on, leave early to find parking! Above all, Lucio and Antonella were the best hosts ever. Always available, so lovely to chat with and gave us such thoughtful gifts. It felt like we were old friends! We will definitely be back!! Thank you Lucio and Antonella!

Casa vacanze consigliatissima la casa gode di tutte le comodità necessarie ha 3 terrazzi uno più bello dell altro con delle viste da ristorante a 5 stelle per questo la sera abbiamo preferito rimanere a cenare a casa trovate una caletta sotto casa difronte al porto di santo Stefano raggiungibile da un piccolo sentiero (sconsigliato per anziani o neonati ) nel complesso splendida vacanza e casa top a dimenticavo pomeriggi passati in piscina con i bimbi una vera salvezza !!!!
