The hotel looks very nice and is 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Oodorp. On arrival I and a couple waited for some time but nobody at reception. Eventually a young lady arrived but when checking in we were told that the restaurants were closed. It was -5C outside so I did not fancy a 30 min walk into town and I was looking forward to a glass of wine with my meal so I drove to an Aldi and bought tapas to eat and a bottle of wine. I decided to be sociable so at 1930 I went down to the bar which was a huge room but the bar consigned to a cluster of bottles in a corner. There was nobody else there but I finally did manage to get a small bottle of beer. Due to the weather outside, the vast emptiness of the room and the incredibly dim lighting, it reminded me of the Shining and I was waiting for Jack Nicholson to put an axe through the door and say 'Here's Johnny'. I returned to my equally dimly lit room and ate cold food in the gloom. By now the wall lights had failed so I was left with a small table lamp and the light from the bathroom. Breakfast was delivered from town and there were cold meats and cheeses but I would have liked a hearty hot breakfast before spending a day working in the freezing cold. I am sure that in good weather the hotel will be busy, vibrant and will have hot food and a proper bar but when I was there this did not apply. When is a hotel not a hotel? When it is a semi dark room and they forgot to put the radiator on in advance of my arrival.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel für einen Aufenthalt an der See. Der Strand ist auf kurzem Weg erreichbar und das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes Hotel an Traumlage. Alles perfekt bis auf ein zu weiches Bett. Die Regendusche war perfekt und das herrliche Frühstück hat die Nacht mehr als wett gemacht.

Ruime kamer, grote badkamer met fijne zepen en handdoeken. Bedden zijn prima. Het ontbijt buffet was vanngoede kwaliteit; de koffie heerlijk. Voor onze e-bikes was voldoende plaats. De ligging is net buiten het gezellige centrum van Ouddorp en op loopafstand van de stranden.

Mooi hotel met ideale locatie. Mooi om de om de omgeving te verkennen. Kamer zijn schoon alleen in mijn geval kamer 2 erg gehorig van aansluitende kamers. Douche beste die ik ooit heb meegemaakt. Personeel erg vriendelijk.

Great Little Hotel - Excellent For Cyclists

Good sized rooms with very nice bathrooms. Restaurant downstairs was very nice with excellent service and a good selection. Property is well kept and clean. We locked to the bike rack with no issues, but there was a shed available if required. I would absolutely book again.

Zimmer waren ok. Wir hatten die Zimmer in einem Trackt ohne Lift mit einer sehr engen Treppe. Nichts für Personen mit einer Gehbehinderung. Essen war auch OK

Die Unterkunft (Zimmer) war mäßig ausgestattet, die Treppen zum Zimmer gefährlich, alles war etwas schmuddelig, das Frühstück wurde kaum nachgefüllt und war nicht sonderlich gesund/abwechslungsreich. Preis-Leistung passten nicht!
