Pueblito Escondido luxury apartment 203

Beautiful apartment in the best location of Playa del Carmen, just right at 38th north street just in the corner with beach access. This is a great location because it doesn't have all the noise of the party zone, but you will have just in the corner the 5th avenue with several good restaurants and everything is walking distance.
To go to the beach you just need to go out of the condo and the access will be just at left side.
This condo has a great deck at the top of the roof with an infinity pool with and amazing view to the beach and the city.
The building has elevator and the apartment is located in the 2nd floor.
The apartment comes with a sofa bed and 1 bedroom with a king size matress, it has free wifi and cable tv, the kitchen has everything that's necessary.
It has a complete bathroom and also a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
It has a safe box also.

Hermoso condominio junto a la playa, en la mejor ubicación en Playa del Carmen en la calle 38 Norte. Cerca de los apartamentos hay una gran cantidad de restaurantes y en la esquina se puede encontrar la avenida 5 (La calle más importante de Playa del Carmen). We have stayed here before and love the location! It is. Lean and the pool is so nice! Renovations are occurring so it will be even nicer. One concern - the elevator often is t working. This is a problem for my husband as he has mobility issues.

Amazing location and the place has all of the amenities you could think of! The rooftop pool is absolutely beautiful, but was unusable for the last half of our trip due to building maintenance - we travelled during the off season though, so I understand why this was going on. The pillows could be more comfortable and the water pressure in the shower isn’t the strongest, but overall we would come back in a heartbeat. The rules about having guests after 11pm are strict so if you’re planning on entertaining maybe consider elsewhere. Mario was an excellent host.

Great location.

We loved the Calle 38 location. The condo itself was great. Plenty of space. Plenty of kitchen tools to cook meals. They give you a huge water cooler bottle with a pump and you can buy more for a few dollars. Roof top pool was great. Condo is right next to the beach, which we didn’t use because of the sargasso, but we knew that was potentially a problem before booking our trip. Located on a street with fantastic restaurants and bars, and just steps away from Avenida Quinta. Building has a convenience store (Oxxo) and there’s a 7/11 and Farmacia on the same road. Easy five-ten minute walk to Starbucks and very kind of food that you could possibly want. The property had a few things to address: Says it has an elevator, but elevator was broken. Says it has laundry, but laundry machines were broken (we would have packed differently had we been notified). Roof top pool has a bar area, but no actual bar service. Plenty of toilet paper, but you will need to buy paper towels and napkins. These things were minor inconveniences, and we will definitely return to the property. The location can’t be beat and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location and value

This condo is an excellent value for a couple, a single traveler, or perhaps a couple with a young child. It is superbly located on perhaps the prettiest street in Playa, Calle 38. It’s less than a five minute walk from 5th and you can walk to the best beach club in Playa in well under fifteen minutes; of catch a cab for just150 pesos. Great restaurants and bars line Calle 38, just steps away. The condo was spotlessly clean and had everything necessary for meal preparation. The bed was extremely comfortable, although I would urge the owner to invest in quality pillows. Of great importance to me, the setting is extremely quiet - I was never once disturbed by noise at night. As other reviewers have noted, the rooftop pool is a great place to hang out. The owner is very responsive and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I visit Playa regularly and will definitely be back, contingent upon availability, of course. Highly recommended.

BEST LOCATION

This condo is absolutely my favorite! This is the second time we stay at this building. This time we were on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the 1st floor pool. Their roof top infinity pool is amazing-it's heated! Everything very clean, full kitchen-just wonderful. Shower needed a little more pressure for my liking, but still able to take a nice hot shower to get rid of sand. This host had a beach umbrella and beach chairs which was extremely convenient. I love that it is literally steps away from the beach with an OXXO next door and a couple yummy restaurants just steps away. I will definitely return!

Pueblito Escondido is a perfect spot for family, or if you and a spouse want comfort, convenience, and quiet. The rooftop pool is spectacular and its a shirt walk to 5th ave (quinta avenida) where all the restaurants, and shops are.

Property is dated but well taken care of. Staff is very helpful and respectful. Owner of this condo was responsive until we arrived, then did not answer my messages until a few days later. Both TVs did not work and it took 3 days to get the tiny one in the bedroom fixed. Owner never inquired again to help satisfy.

Great building literally steps from the beach. Amazing oceanfront location in arguably the best street in Playa Del Carmen, Calle 38th street. You will Feel elation every time I walk in or out of the building. It is why we have stayed in the property multiple times. (7 times last year). Who said “you can never get enough of a good thing “? I think it was May West. Anyway you will not be disappointed. My bar is pretty high. This property checks all the boxes.

Great location, but the unit needs attention

We stayed in this unit and here are the pros and cons. Pros: Wonderful location!! The rooftop pool is amazing!! The pool is clean and the view cannot be beat. The front desk attendants are very helpful. A convenience store is right next door for last minute needs. The unit is very spacious. Our tv was not working one evening and it was replaced the next day. Cons: The unit has a very strong musty/moldy smell. Every time I walked in from outside, I was hit by the smell. The bathroom could use some more lighting, it is very dark. I thought the laundry was in our unit, but it is a community washer and dryer in the garage area and it costs about ten dollars per load. It is shared by all of the residents, so it is hit or miss that it will be free on the day or time you are looking to do laundry. The sliding door did not lock properly. I know this is a safe area, but all of the units are rented out to different people. All in all, the building was wonderful and we can't wait to stay here again, but we will look for a different unit in this building.

Smelly Playa del Carmen Street 38

The whole area has an issue with a horrible smell after rotten eggs. Some days it was a bit better, but after some rainy days it got again worse. The apartment itself was okish. The kitchen and the bathroom need a make over. The oven was so dirty that we did not use it and many potts very heavily sctrached / melted. There were stains on the couch and a duck tape was used to fix a hole. Washing and drying was very inconvenient since it was not placed in the apartment and every load has to be paid. We wanted to shorten our stay but our proposal to the owner, was not addressed by anyone. Neither FeWo-direkt or the owner, It was handled poorly and we never got a satisfactory reply.
