We ordered seafood from a local market and had dinner at home most nights. There are some great restaurants close by though! 「Every Thanksgiving we book house with our family. Always in Norfolk or Virginia Beach. Well, this year wasnt smooth. I didnt recived check in instructions. Texted host...no answer. Waited 40 min...no answer. Check in time had to call to tech support. Finally got the code. No instructions whatsoever how to use anything. Texted no answer, called no answer. Couldn't use Wifi first day. Dishes werent clean, toilet on a first floor was nonstop leaking, rails on a front porch falling out.... Honestly,...

「The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were nice. It was pet friendly. You will not hear from the host until right before your check in. Then they responded quickly if you had a question. The only thing I wish they provided was information about the area. (Like restaurants, grocery stores etc.)」

「Two blocks to Mason Ave and two blocks to the beach, the location was a real highlight for us. The house was clean, and check-in/check-out could not be easier. I was a little nervous about having the owners right next-door, but they were so polite when we saw them, and that was very rare. We had a great time, and hope that it’s available for our Cape Charles trip next year. 」
