In the district of Marina Grande, 1 km from the centre of Sorrento, in a busy, sunny position, 10 m from the sea, 10 m from the beach, direct access to the beach, in a pedestrian area. Stepped path (28 steps) to the house. Public parking 500 m extra. Shop 100 m, restaurant 10 m, bar, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Marina Grande" 50 m, railway station "Circumvesuviana - Sorrento" 1.5 km, ferry "Marina Piccola - Sorrento" 1.5 km, sandy beach "Marina Grande" 10 m, thermal baths "Ulysses SPA" 800 m. Marina 10 m. Nearby attractions: Positano 17 km, Massa Lubrense 11 km, Amalfi 35 km, Pompei 30 km, Napoli 50 km, Capri. Hiking paths: Punta Campanella 13 km, Sentiero degli Dei 30 km. Please note: car not advisable.
2-room apartment 35 m2 on 1st floor. Partly renovated in 2020, simple and practical furnishings: living/dining room with 1 double sofabed (160 cm, length 190 cm), TV and flat screen. 1 small double bedroom, without window with shower/bidet/WC. Small, open kitchen (4 gas rings, toaster, kettle, microwave). Air-conditioning, forced-air heating. Heating available only from 01.11. to 31.03. Location was great close to the Cathedral Of Saint Matthew , Vierta de su Mare is a bus ride away, many shops, a strip of high end stores , and many restaurants beach and beautiful night time atmosphere at the sea dock .

Location was amazing however the host never replied replied even after we had no hot water for 2 days and the shower was also blocked. Only had 2 rolls of toilet roll for 5 nights. Shower was dirty and the kitchen area ( near the stock top) was greasy and not cleaned properly.

Great location, poor stay

This property was overall in a great location, but badly maintained and stocked by the company, and overall left a bad taste in my mouth, to elaborate:The good:-you are indeed steps away from a beach, the location is greatBeware:-stairs to get to the location. If you have luggage and you are coming from the train station, and you are not fit, get a taxi- you are working with a management company, so while that sounds organized, is actually a bit frustrating in practice. They have working hours and do not use vrbo to communicate, but whatsapp (as do most italian companies) more on this laterThe annoying nuances:-they didnt restock toiletries besides 2 rolls of toilet paper, we had half-used hotel bottles of shampoo/conditioner, only salt/pepper, no coffee, while is not expensive to buy, is just an inconvenience while youre traveling-the utensils are kind of not in great shape(terrible knife), the sink is also unclean (full of lyme stains) -couldve been given some more clips for hanging wet clothesThe really bad:-the electricity went out on our 2nd night, none of the breakers tripped in our property, we had some communication with the property manager and did not receive great help. So we spent a night with no electricity. Only the next morning did we find out this property shares a circuit with the noni next door. No idea why its like this (but i have my assumptions). We were not told this at all and found out ourselves. Beware!!!!!

Registration a nightmare

Temperature at 45 or less. No heat. TV didn'tfunction. Assistance from hosts ZERO despite my calls to them. Remote from downtown Expenise transportation. Food around bad. Misrepresentation on the web photo.

Nice stay

This is overall a nice place to stay. It is small but located in a great spot near the beach and easy to get to. The listing gave the impression there is a deck overlooking the beach. That is not accurate. The deck is on the walkway to the apartment. This is a very small space to sleep 4. Pillows were flat, the pull out couch is not comfortable (even with the pads on it), and 1 roll of toilet paper was all we were given. Additionally the cover on the pull out couch was terribly dirty.
