What you can expect

On this walking tour, you’ll discover Budapest’s most famous market hall: the Central Market Hall, which opened in 1897 and is 220 metres long.

During the tour, you’ll discover the specialities most cherished by Hungarian cuisine, how Hungarians really eat, and which (non-touristy) stalls are best for shopping.

Inside the market hall, you can also sample a few of its classics: salamis, various types of paprika and honey.

In the cellar, we’ll then discover the world of Hungarian wines and hear various interesting stories about the local cuisine.

As a gift, you’ll receive a digital restaurant guide to Budapest (with plenty of tips on where to eat well), a Hungarian cookery book (with great recipes) and a wine guide.
