The Guide Mountain is a volcanic cone with two semicircular craters. From this place you will have a privileged view of the beach of Porto Pim and the city of Horta.
Miradouro de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao

Monument of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, from this place you can see the historic centre of the city and the bay of Horta on one side and, on the other, Praia do Almoxarife. You can also see the neighbouring Pico Island and the highest point in Portugal, Pico Mountain. On days without clouds, you can still see the island of São Jorge and Graciosa. Without a doubt, a place with a privileged view!
Flamengos

On the route to Caldeira do Faial we will take a road with excellent views of the entire parish of Flamengos. This is the only parish on the island that has no sea around it and is surrounded by mountains and volcanoes.
Caldeira

Located in the centre of the island, Caldeira is the true ex-libris of Faial. It is one of the largest volcanic craters in the Azores, which was at the origin of the island, measuring about 2000 metres in diameter, seven kilometres in perimeter and 400 metres in depth.

Site of great volcanic beauty. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions of the Atlantic, namely the Azores. Its landscape reminds us of a lunar environment. Enjoy the contrast of the grey of the sands with the green of the hills and the blue of the sky and the sea.
