Itinerary
️ Day 1 – The Soul of Yogyakarta
Discover the timeless beauty of Borobudur Temple, the world’s largest Buddhist monument, followed by the majestic Prambanan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through serene temple gardens, admire ancient reliefs, and enjoy the sunset glow over Yogyakarta’s skyline.
Day 2 – Sunrise & Underground Adventures
Wake up early for a spectacular Merapi Volcano sunrise by 4x4 Jeep. Afterwards, challenge yourself in the mesmerising Jomblang Cave, known for its heavenly light shaft, and continue to Pindul Cave for an exhilarating tubing experience through underground rivers.
️ Day 3 – Ancient Temples & Hidden Waterfalls
Travel east to Central Java’s highlands to explore the mystical Sukuh and Cetho Temples, perched on the slopes of Mount Lawu. End your day with a refreshing visit to Grojogan Sewu Waterfall, one of Java’s most scenic cascades surrounded by lush forest.
Day 4 – Scenic Drive to East Java
Enjoy a scenic overland journey across Java’s countryside towards Mount Bromo. Pass through rice fields, villages, and mountain roads while soaking in the authentic charm of rural Indonesia. Overnight stay near Bromo area.
Day 5 – Bromo Sunrise & Transfer to Bondowoso
At dawn, ride a Jeep to Penanjakan Viewpoint for one of the most iconic sunrises in the world — Mount Bromo, Batok, and Semeru framed in a sea of clouds. Descend to the Bromo crater and cross the whispering sands before continuing your scenic journey to Bondowoso.
Day 6 – Ijen Blue Fire & Crater Lake
Depart at midnight for the legendary Ijen Crater hike. Witness the surreal blue flames before sunrise and admire the turquoise acid lake as daylight emerges. Marvel at local sulphur miners at work — a truly humbling, once-in-a-lifetime sight.
After your descent, relax with a coffee stop before transferring to Ketapang Port (for Bali drop-off) or drop to Surabaya.
