What you can expect

  • Watch Knysna come alive in a glow of gold, pink and amber as the sun sets over the lagoon.

Step aboard Bella Vita, Ocean Sailing Charters’ stylish 24-foot luxury lagoon cruiser, and settle in for a relaxed sunset experience on the tranquil waters of the Knysna Estuary.

As the afternoon fades, cruise towards the iconic Knysna Heads and take in the changing colours of the sky reflected across the water. Surrounded by forested hills, secluded bays and the beautiful Garden Route coastline, this is one of the most peaceful ways to experience Knysna.

Bella Vita is designed for relaxed lagoon cruising, with comfortable lounge-style seating that lets you sit back, enjoy the scenery and make the most of golden hour. Keep your eyes open for the estuary’s abundant birdlife and playful seals that are often spotted along the way.

Make the evening even more special with a selection of drinks available to purchase onboard, or pre-order oysters, sparkling wine or a charcuterie board to enjoy during your cruise.

Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with family/friends, or sailing solo, the Bella Vita Sunset Cruise is a beautiful way to slow down after a day of exploring the Garden Route and experience Knysna from a different perspective.

Bella Vita remains on the sheltered waters of the Knysna Lagoon and does not enter the open ocean.

Come aboard, find your spot on the lounger and watch the Garden Route turn golden.
