What you can expect

Cooking class programme:

9AM/ 3PMYou will be picked up from hotel then head to the local market to get ingredients by yourself and experience a variety of foods from all the groceries such as: herbs, spices, vegetables, meats, fishes, fruits which are so fresh. You will have chance to learn some Vietnamese simple phrase in shopping and bargaining, which can easily do in a Hanoi one day tour.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to cooking location to prepare and cook according to our guide’s instruction. You will be welcomed as special guests coming to our home with some kinds of drink. Then you can choose 4 dishes to cook. You are given some recommends for dishes that you can consider. Next, let's start cooking!

Our Sample Menu with the 4 iconic dishes that almost everybody would like to try in Hanoi (More dishes or Vegan/Vegetarian are available):

  • Banana Flower Salad: A special starter from fresh Banana flowers, vegetables, and herbs.

  • Obama Noodles - BBQ (Pork) with Dipping Sauce: Sweet and sour dipping sauce with flavorsome marinated pork, Chef Anthony Bourdain and the Former President of the USA - Mr. Barack Obama enjoyed them

  • Vietnamese Fried Spring-rolls: Nem and Bun Cha will be the best combination for you to feel the sound of crispy rolls and taste the full flavour of fresh meat or tofu, mushrooms, vegetables dipped in sweet and sour sauce.

  • Egg Coffee (or Chocolate): Egg yolks, condensed milk, honey - altogether in creamy custard floating on Vietnamese black coffee/ chocolate. (or another dessert for vegan).

If you are not good at cooking, don’t worry, our professional chef will help you step by step to complete your dishes. This will be funny and worthy experience that you not only know the recipes to cook Vietnamese but also discover the local life and cuisine through easily way. After finishing cooking, this is time for you tasting your results of half day - enjoy your meal in warm atmosphere. Do you feel those dishes better than usual. Let’s enjoy this relaxing time while having special lunch and chatting to friendly people! After all, you will be back to your hotel around 1:30Pm or 7:30PM. The tour ends. Our guide will say good bye and see you again!
