Ba Dinh Bar Hotel

"Hotel was in an excellent location near the lake. Staff were very nice and helpful. We were upgraded for free and our bed was very comfy. Room had a big tv and excellent wifi. The room was very quiet at night. We were just in Hanoi for a night before journeying on to Halong Bay and this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. They stored our luggage for us after check out as we were waiting for an evening bus. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was wonderful in every way. It was suberbly situated in the old quarter and only 200 metres from Train Street. Service and attention to detail were exceptional. The hotel boasted a high end restaurant which served Vietnamese food on a different level. Having been in the country for three weeks already, we decided to treat ourselves to our evening meal there throughout our stay. However the thing that made our stay at the hotel so memorable were the staff. They were without exception so friendly and personable and nothing was too much trouble. We shouldn't single out anyone in particular but it would be wrong not to mention Suzy on reception who not only helped us out throughout our stay, but when it was discovered that we had left a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in our room, she managed to get them to us on our Halong Bay Cruise. A distance of 98 kms! How she did it remains a mystery. So would we stay there again. Absolutely!"

"I already reviewed this hotel - it is an excellent hotel, with good service, located in the central part of Hanoi but not that close to walk to Hoan Kiem Lake or Old and French Quarters. However if you have the Grab app and Vietnamese SIM card in your phone, getting anywhere is efficient and easy. The only unfavorable point is the overwhelming smell of food in hotel's hallways - it has at least four restaurants on floors 59 and 63 so the smell of food penetrates the hallways and is unpleasant and heavy."
