The room was quite clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast with limited choices and is the same every day. The room air-con is cooling in the early part of the night but is warm near morning.

I enjoyed my stay so much that when I lost my passport, I went back. Im afraid I would not rate the pool for swimming. It is very small, more like a jacuzzi without the warmth and bubbles. If you want to swim don't come here, try the Mandarin

A great old hotel. Great breakfast options. Room was clean and well maintained. Great location. Concierge always helpful. Front desk great. Pool was great with a beautiful view of the city. Not far from the water taxis to take you to the shrines or to an amazing shopping mall. Very near the night market areas with good restaurants nearby too.

A fabulous stay at the Grand China Bangkok hotel. Lots of things to do around the area, great massage places, walkable attractions, easy to grab a taxi, safe, hotel is part of a shopping mall so convenient. Starbucks also part of the building. My room was on the 17th floor with lovely views. The room was spacious and clean. It is also the floor was GenZ bar. Hotel staff all friendly and welcoming. The coincerge staff are my favourite, always getting the lift for me or carrying up my bags. Amazing service. Will definitely stay again.

We were exhausted when we arrived. They were sticky about their 2 pm check in. We went to the pool and more rules and stiff staff to enforce them. Not a friendly hotel. But Chinatown is right down the street. It is the first hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Thailand, and it's not representative of the friendliness of the rest of our trip. In case like this, I usually wonder about the hotel owners/administrators who set the rules and tones, not the staff.
