Exceptional apartment right in the port/lower town of Bonifacio. You walk out the front of the building directly onto the main boardwalk with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The marina is right there - both for the view and the pick up/drop off point for the main boat tours in the area. We loved this place and the town so much we adjusted our trip to come back and stay for another weekend (ever lucky the place was available)!One bit that would’ve been helpful to know is the parking situation: there are several lots for visitors in the port area as well as on the citadel. The price is extreme at 25 per calendar day (so if you park midday on Monday and leave midday on Tuesday you could end up paying 50). There is a parking pass visitors can purchase to use specific reserved lots. The cost is 60 for the first week, the La régie des parkings is open Monday to Friday 9am-4pm in the Iles-Soeurs building. You cannot drive to this building and there is no easy parking nearby - park in P3 and walk (10 minutes). The pass was well worth the effort to obtain, and we never had a problem finding spots in the allocated reserved lots.
