"We enjoyed our stay here! The room was on the smaller side but plenty to do around the little town so not a big concern. Grounds were charming and breakfast was good. I would have liked a little gym space but there are gyms around where I’m sure you could get a day pass. Many good wineries close by to choose from, and there’s a shuttle that will take you to local ones (not working on the days we were there due to holiday/off-peak season). Drive/ride share to those outside of Calistoga. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel. "

"We stayed here while I was in the St. Helena hospital having a procedure done. It was very calming for me after I got released and my husband totally enjoyed his stay there while I was in the hospital. Kate, the owner was very accommodating and welcoming. It is only about 8 miles from the hospital which made it very convenient for hubby to go back and forth. The continental breakfast basket every morning was yummy with fresh fruit, rolls and juice, and coffee we could make in the cottage. The grounds are very nicely taken care of, and parking is right in front of the cottages."
