What isn’t translated through the beautiful photos is the feeling of privacy and adventure as you turn into the palm tree-lined driveway and park in a clean, shaded ground floor area. Staircases to both front and back porch/deck entrances are a plus for busy bodies, and an expansive tropical backyard/garden to indulge in spontaneous visits from the gopher tortoise, indigo snakes and bunnies is nothing short of magical. The yellow cacti blossoms are gorgeous, and a favorite tortoise treat. Hike the nature trail to South beach for swimming and exploration, and make sure to catch the glow show at Sunset beach around 730p as you hunt for sand dollars. The salt water pool is new, clean and you will likely spend hours there every day! Unbelievable property that I strongly recommend to families of 4-6 members.

Relatively clean upon arrival. Dusty in L/R. Not enough kitchen towels. Bath towels in tough shape.No vacumn cleaner to vacuum sand. Was broken. Asked for replacement.Cute place if basics intact.

Great property!

This was our second time back to North Captiva. We loved this property. The location was great - very central to everything, we loved the clean private pool, and had some fun ping pong games. The house had everything we needed.

New Year's Family Vaca

Our family loved Lunar Tides and had a great stay on North Captiva. The house has all the amenities you need for a beach vacation and everything was in good working order and well maintained. Our kids especially enjoyed the heated pool and ping pong table under the house. We would definitely rent this property again.

Wonderful Home!!

We’re a pair of friends who traveled to renew our wedding vows and this beautiful home provided the perfect place to enjoy the island. The house stayed cool in record heat so that we could all relax comfortably. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, even for Chef Billy. The beds were very comfortable with good pillows. One suggestion would be to have crab claw crackers available. The pool area was lovely and had beautiful plantings all around. Second suggestion is to add a railing for easier access into/out of the pool. I have some mobility challenges and it was difficult without something to hold onto. Our husbands LOVED playing ping pong! Thank you!

Family stay

We had a great time on the island, house was clean and nicer than we expected. Hurricane debris was still being cleaned up throughout the island but it didn’t bother our stay. Beaches were great. Island staff very friendly and house manager was very helpful throughout our trip as well. We look forward to coming back!

Serenity

We had a wonderful week stay at Lunar Tides. The home is very comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well equipped. We especially liked the beverage station fridge. We enjoyed early mornings and late night card games on the porches. The landscaping is spectacular and we literally felt like we were among the palms in the jungle! Truly lovely relaxing spot! Thank you!

First time on the island

This is a great spot and the house was nice and clean. It was pretty stocked but could have used a few more bowls, and cooking tools but it was fine. We all loved the refrigerator that had a filtered refillable pitcher right in it. That was the best. The house next door has a pool and they had young kids playing in it, so you have to be ready for those sounds. The property managers were very responsive. We had a wonderful trip.

Great vacation

Lunar Tides is a beautiful house and North Captiva is a relaxing and gorgeous island. The house is clean and comfortable. The house gardens are beautiful. All appliances were up to date. It was so relaxing to enjoy the great weather on the upstairs front deck. The property manager- Sally Seashells offered all the information we needed to make the trip there and back and order placement at Publix super convenient. We had everything we needed to make for a wonderful week. Thank you!

Great Clean House
