Cozy room, new building, nice area. Some shops and cafe, restaurants. Not easy check inn, you must go to another place, close to Hakata station, take paper code and pay, after return again to hotel room. 15 minutes.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
HORRIBLE. *MUST READ* In Japan on business. Booked this property as I missed my train ticket back to where I was stationed in Japan, due to a business dinner. After my dinner I arrived at the advertised location only to learn I had to check in elsewhere. I tried calling the establishment (WHICH DOESN’T SPEAK ENGLISH) and I tried to locate the check-in location. The man on the other end of the line replied he doesn’t speak English and dropped my phone call. After finding WiFi at a local convenience store I found the address to the location and still couldn’t locate it. Taxi drivers couldn’t recognize the address and the annoyed check-in clerk dropped my phone call again after asking if anyone there spoke English (2nd call). After that I called Expedia customer support and a man answered who tried to contact the property and they dropped his phone call as well. The man claimed he couldn’t do anything to help me. It was past midnight at this point and I couldn’t book another hotel. I ended up staying up 4 hours in the cold of the now-closed Hakata train station like a homeless person. This was an unforgettable and grim experience. I received an email from Expedia saying they will contact me to discuss this incident. After no contact from Expedia, they contacted me today through email and said they couldn’t issue a refund as it went against policy. I’m very disgusted by the treatment of the hotel staff and Expedia customer support. Do yourself a favor and don’t book this place.

Longer term residence-style hotel.
Enjoyed our stay with two adults and three children. It was helpful to have a washer, refrigerator and stove as well as an extra futon in the closet. Everything was very modern, looked new, and fresh. Very comfortable beds. Probably the best feature of the rooms were the comfort of the bedding. It was a hassle though, to check-in at one location and then have to travel again to the location of stay. Also, it wasn't advertised that it was air bnb style. I had assumed it was an actual hotel. It left me concerned for safety because I had young children with me and there was no security and other occupants were often leaving the entry door propped open. We had seen alot of grafitti in the areawhile traveling to the hotel, but in the morning realized there was a kindergarten across the street and many business people walking to work, so it felt safer. One downside/disappointment was that the bathtub felt very grimy. Like it hadn't been given a good scrub in awhile. I had children that needed to be bathed and a stay that lasted several days, but had to settle on showering them because we didn't want to use the tub. It would be helpful to have an extra pillow for extra occupants (we had booked for 5 people and there were only 3 pillows). It would also be helpful to have some way to hang the washed clothing outside on the deck (rack and hangars). Thanks!
