"The hotel was situated in a secluded area, separated from the rest of the town. The staff members were exceptional - they treated me like family. Every single person, from the employees on the 17th-floor bar to those at the front desk, was incredibly sweet, well-mannered, polite, and helpful. I had such a great experience that I can't wait to go back, and next time, I plan to bring along even more friends."

"We were a little apprehensive about booking our bucket list Ha Long Bay cruise with Scarlet Pearl after reading mixed reviews in various platforms but we went ahead with it and went with no expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised. The pick from our hotel in Hanoi was on time and in a luxury van which was very comfortable. We did stop at a pearl store on the way but there was zero pressure to buy anything. Check in was smooth and so was the transportation to the boat itself. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome. The boat looked very classy and the staff very friendly. We were celebrating our wedding announcement and they went out of the way to make us feel special. Wendy is an excellent cruise manager. Her entire crew is super friendly and helpful. Very attentive to the passengers’ needs at all times. Food on the cruise is excellent and so are the drinks. They are very reasonably priced considering this is a cruise ship. Excursions are all well planned and excellent. Chris, the assistant manager is very knowledgeable and is very involved. We also took a private sunset cruise with another couple and that is just fantastic. Tony accompanied us on this cruise and showed off his smart phone camera skills by taking amazing photos. I can go on and on but this should give you an idea. I don’t understand the negative reviews. There is nothing negative about this cruise. All positive. Special shout out to Wendy, Chris, Jessica, James and Tony. Amazing people."

"Fabulous staff, wonderful trip. Tat was a great host, very sweet. Our butler Annie was lovely. The room was tired and really need updating however the private balcony was great! The most disappointing thing was the spa. It wasn’t accessible via the top deck bar area and you can’t see anything when sitting in the spa. Also on day 2 it was green!! Awful, we didn’t go in on day 2. Good on the buffet each meal was really good. The day trip to the village was great! "

"View from the room and rooftop pool were great. Everything was clean and the hotel seems new. We loved this area, but note it is not in the main tourist area. We walked into the neighborhood for dinner, really liked Mangos Restaurant. Rented a motorbike and had free parking. Very happy we chose the Watson. "

"From the bellboy to the reception staff to all of the staff in the restaurant staff and the room this is a beautiful hotel. The staff treat you like luxury and are always so helpful. Food was great. Prices are good and we really enjoyed our stay. We extended 1 more night because we liked the hotel so much. Thank you again for a wonderful stay Joseph"
