I had reserved a non smoking room and on the way to the room it already had a smoke smell, the room smelled even worse. This property is an older facility and definately could use a refresh. The hotel is freestanding with not much lively activity surrounding, some may like this but others ????? it was a convenient walk up the hill to a temple and tram to the top of the mountain. Also walkable to the Historic District.

A very dated feeling hotel. People were plenty nice and the location was okay, but the place felt old and not worth the price compared to similarly priced hotels I stayed at in other cities.

FULL SMOKING BAD ROOMS
THIS IS A SMOKING HOTEL, THE WHOLE HOTEL, ROOM, CARPET, LOBBY, BED, SMELLS EXTREMELY BAD AND FULL OF CIGARETTE SMOKING SMELLS, AND THEY PUT THAT AS 'NON SMOKING' ROOM. I CAN CONFIRM THEY HAVE JUST RECENTLY CHANGED OR JUST HAPPENED TO BOOK THE GUESTS INTO SMOKING ROOMS AND LABELLED AS NON SMOKING, THIS IS SO EXTREMELY BAD !!! I COMPLAINED TO THE RECEPTION, WAS TOLD NOTHING CAN BE DONE, GAVE ME A BOTTLE OF DEODORANT SPRAY INSTEAD AND ASKED ME TO HELP MYSELF. THE FULL ROOM, CLOTHS, AND ALL THINGS SMELLED LIKE A SMOKED TREATMENT THE NEXT DAY.
