My recent stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was superb, offering easy access to [city landmarks], the overall experience left something to be desired. Firstly, the staff members were generally average, with the exception of Robert at the front desk. His professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to assist stood out in contrast to the rest of the team. However, one major disappointment was the breakfast options. The selection was poor and very limited, lacking variety and freshness. For a hotel aiming to provide a satisfying start to the day, this was a significant letdown. Regrettably, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay here again in the future.

The staff is wonderful. We especially found Robert and Tammy to be superstars! Friendly, helpful and efficient. The beds are firm and we loved it. The area around this hotel is very walkable and it is safe. What we didn’t like: The room we stayed in for one night was very noisy (street front) and it had a weird smell (room 202). We asked for another room and was moved to another room.

I would prefer if everything was priced in VND. Pricing in US dollars means I’m paying exchange twice when I pay in CAD on a credit card. Everything was very nice. Breakfast, afternoon tea , etc. Weirdly, toilet paper holder in our room was virtually inaccessible if you were on the toilet. Quite minor but irritating

Clean hotel with friendly staff within the tourist centre of HCMC. Easy walking distance to multiple key sites including the war remnants museum and Ben Thanh museum. Staff are very welcoming and eager to help. Good breakfast and afternoon tea buffet options. Thank you for having us!

Au Lac Charner is in a great location with wonderful views. Breakfast was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is a bit small but good enough to cool down after a busy day. Our only complaint would be that there are no handrails to get into the pool and also no hand rails at the entrance to the hotel. Otherwise - perfect!
