Ideal for four guests, The Yellow Door also offers flexible sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to four additional guests. This includes two people on a sofa bed in the air-cooled living room and two on a king-size bed in the dining area, also attached to a washroom. An extra charge of $10 per person applies for each guest beyond the initial four, allowing a total of eight guests to stay in the space comfortably.

The residence at The Yellow Door boasts a generously sized layout that includes two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its full washroom. The expansive drawing room and adjacent dining area measure 28 feet by 14 feet and feature an ensuite full bathroom. This space is thoughtfully furnished with a 10-seater sofa set and a dining table for six, alongside a 45-inch Smart TV, providing an ideal setting for dining, relaxation, and entertainment. High-speed 150 Mbps Wi-Fi is available throughout the residence, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity.

The kitchen, measuring 10 feet by 8 feet, is well-appointed with essential cooking utensils, a gas stove, a refrigerator, and an RO water purifier, catering to all your culinary needs. Each bedroom's attached washroom has a geyser, Western commode, washbasin, and shower, offering modern comforts.

An additional washroom connected to the living area provides added convenience, although it is essential to note that the bathtub is non-functional due to water scarcity in the region

Check-In and Check-Out Times:

Check-In: Guests can check in between 1:00 PM and 10:00 PM. When requesting reservations, guests are expected to indicate the time of check-in. This window allows us to ensure that each guest arrives in a thoroughly prepared and welcoming environment. If you anticipate arriving outside these hours, please let us know so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Check-Out: We kindly ask that guests check out by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. This schedule helps our team maintain a high standard of cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests. If you require a later check-out, please contact us as early as possible to discuss the possibilities; we will accommodate late check-outs based on availability, which may involve additional charges.

These check-in and check-out times are designed to provide a smooth transition for all guests while allowing our staff adequate time for cleaning and preparations.

House Rules:
1. Legal Compliance: No illegal activities are permitted. Guests involved in unlawful actions will be directly liable to local police and security agencies under Jaipur's jurisdiction. Foreign guests must provide a copy of their passport, valid visa, and all necessary information in the prescribed format to the foreign office before check-in.
2. Noise Restrictions: Strictly no parties or loud music. Noise should be kept to a minimum, especially after 10 pm, as authorised by the Tourism Department.
3. Privacy and Security: The accommodation is on the ground floor of a family residence with a separate entrance, ensuring privacy. The host family lives on the first floor, providing a secure environment and a local experience while ensuring guest privacy.
4. Pet Policy: We have a friendly Golden Retriever on the premises. Guests who are comfortable with dogs are welcome to interact with her. Please note that if you are dog-phobic, consider this before booking, although we will try to keep the dog away from your space.
5. Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms. Guests may smoke in designated areas like the veranda, patio or terrace.
6. Sustainability: Guests are encouraged to use electricity responsibly and maintain cleanliness. A cleaning service is available for extended stays of more than three days.
7. Damage Policy: Guests must compensate for any damage to property or furniture by transferring the required amount before checking out.
8. Local Guests: We do not accept local guests for short, few-hour stays. All guests must register as the Government of Rajasthan prescribes and provide a copy of their legal ID.
9. Vegetarian Environment: The host and all helpers at The Yellow Door are vegetarians. We maintain a vegetarian-friendly environment and kindly request that guests who consume non-vegetarian food take special care in placing all waste in the designated bins and cleaning their utensils and plates thoroughly after use. This consideration helps maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the space for everyone.
10. Energy Conservation: Guests are encouraged to be mindful of energy usage to support environmental sustainability. Please ensure that all air conditioners, geysers, and electrical points are switched off when not in use or before leaving the house. The refrigerator and water RO system should remain on for continuous use.
11. Housekeeping Guidelines: To ensure the sustainability of our resources and maintain environmental friendliness, chaddars (bedsheets) and towels at The Yellow Door will be changed every three days during your stay. This policy helps us reduce water and energy usage while regularly providing guests with fresh linens and towels.
