We bought a 2 day CUTE Pass from the Tourist Information Center in CenTerrace shopping area. We were able to use it on the Kagoshima City Bus, the Kagoshima City View Bus, the ferry to Sakurajima, the Island View Bus on Sakurajima, and the trams in Kagoshima. Great deal! "Rooms are clean and functional. My room had a view of Sakurajima. Rooms facing the train tracks will have noise, so bring ear plugs. Location is easy 1-minute walk from train station. You also have easy access to AMU Plaza shopping mall, which has so many dining options and a ferris wheel. Also, easy underground access to AEON grocery store. "
