This is a beautiful historic property and given that, you can expect a few quirks. It does not have central air, but they do provide an air conditioner in the room, which can be a little noisy for sensitive sleepers. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The room that I had was dated. It was hard to control the temperature in the shower and the water pressure is not the best.
Being an Expedia VIP I was to receive a $13 credit. What I received were two free bottles of water which I understand were given to each guest and two little pouches of Brookside chocolate. That definitely is not a $13 credit. I would’ve much preferred if they gave me the option to upgrade my breakfast to a hot breakfast. If you advertise something they should follow through if not, just delete the $13 credit from the site.
All in all, I would consider returning to the property. Everyone there is very nice, I really did enjoy the continental breakfast. I also like the fact that they have free coffee and tea throughout the day.
