Great location, and a very quiet/private pocket of London in a lovely neighbourhood. Central, with tube and train stations very close by. Lots of cute cafes and bookstores within five minute walk.

This property was in a great area, less than 10 minute walk from the underground and close to bus stops as well. The room was small, but functional with appliances conveniently stowed in cabinets. The staff at the desk were very helpful with anything we needed.

There’s no elevator that I could find, so I had to carry my large suitcase up and down the narrow stairs since they placed me in the basement. I paid a little extra for a patio, thinking maybe I’d have a view….no. It’s basically just a smoking patio with very tall walls on all sides. There were ants in my unit as well. They only give you bath towels so keep that in mind, no hand towels or wash cloths. Also something I found a bit odd was that if you have visitors, they have to leave by 11 pm. BUT they do have self-serve laundry facilities for hotel customers to use, so that would’ve been a plus if I had stayed there later in my 3-week trip

Nice sized room, clean, bed was ok. Patio was great. Wish they would just give you an appropriate amount of toilet paper for a week so you don’t need to keep running to the front desk and carrying rolls back to your room through the street. We ended up just buying a pack to avoid this. Otherwise, good spot and we had a nice time

This is a great place to stay! Everything I needed in order to prepare some of my meals during my two week stay in London and save some money, was provided, even wine glasses! The staff were always available and very helpful.

Pros: great location and price for the stay given the season. I wanted a place where I could get and store some snacks for breakfast and evening so the kitchenette was useful. Wifi and laundry included was a plus. Did not feel unsafe or worried about my belongings as a solo female traveller. Neutral: property and furnishings were basic. Not in terrible shape and not dirty, but worn and could use paint and some new carpets etc. The back garden was nice, but small. Also there is a tennis court across the street so be aware you have a room facing the street you will be awoken early by people playing a round before work! Cons: I had a studio and it was TINY. I am used to small hotels and flats so I was expecting this, but there is no way two people could have stayed in this room, and any one over 5'10 would not have been able to sit on the toilet or use the shower. This was more like a cruise ship cabin. Overall recommend if you are looking for location and low cost for a high season stay.
