The space
Situated amid a row of elegant whitewashed properties in one of the most sought after and exclusive addresses in London, this ground floor apartment exudes classic English style and elegance from the moment you step inside. There are ornaments and ornate little treasures in each of the rooms, all of which benefit from big windows and high ceilings that seemingly add to the spacious look and feel.

The main open plan kitchen/dining/living area effortlessly combines the modern with the classic. From the wall-mounted widescreen TV that you can relax on the sofa to watch, to the vintage roll-top writing desk, ideal if you have work to do.

Welcome to Kensington, a truly exclusive and elegant area of central London. The apartment is situated on the ground floor of an impressive house set back from a tree-lined street that runs north to south in between two of London’s most popular green spaces - Holland Park to the west and Kensington Gardens (home to Kensington Palace) to the east.

The apartment is both well presented and well appointed, with plenty of local, shops, bars and restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance. Notting Hill is just a short walk to the north, with Kensington High Street to the south.

Guests looking for easy access to all of London’s attractions and business districts will find the apartment’s location particularly appealing.

There are plenty of London Underground stations nearby, including Notting Hill Gate which is on the Central, District and Circle Lines, and High Street Kensington to the south. Both these stations will connect you with the most popular areas of the capital in under ten minutes.

The apartment is also well served by buses, with stops along the road outside. There are also bike hire pick-up points nearby, should you prefer to explore on two wheels at your own speed.

Your hosts are very experienced at taking care of visitors to London and will keep as low a profile as you need them to during your stay, leaving you free to enjoy your time in this splendid London apartment. Should you need them, they will be available to help answer questions or provide assistance. Please contact them via Airbnb in the first instance, as this is likely to be the quickest way to get a response.
Other things to note
- LONGER STAYS - For bookings 14 days or longer, a complimentary mid-stay cleaning session will be arranged for you. This service is necessary as we’ve found that it helps to avoid any extra cleaning fees at the end of longer bookings. Please get in touch with us before proceeding if you do not agree to this, as you may be required to pay an additional cleaning deposit that will be refunded to you after the check out inspection by our housekeeper. If you are staying for more than 2 weeks we will organise a mid-stay cleaning which is compulsory.

Please let us know the purpose of your stay when enquiring/booking.
If you do not have any reviews we will need you to provide more details about yourself (ie. work credentials such as a LinkedIn profile or similar) and the purpose of your stay.

In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, prior to arrival, guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference and their passport/identity card/driving license. Above information may be requested for each member of your party over the age of 16; we reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide the information set out above.

INSTANT BOOK GUESTS: if you are under 24, come from London and in a group please contact us first. You will also be required to present your passport at check-in.
Where the person making the booking is different to the guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for damages or house rules being broken.

EARLY CHECK-IN: We are happy to arrange a free early check-in after or around our check out time, as long as there are no guests checking-out on the day of your arrival. Subject to availability.

A GUARANTEED EARLY CHECK-IN before check-out time can be arranged for an extra charge of 60% of the night rate. Subject to availability.

LATE CHECK OUT: On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 11AM. If you fail to do so we reserve the right to charge a late check out fee (60% of an additional night’s stay). Late check-outs can be requested in advance but are subject to availability and may be charged at 60% of the nightly rate.

BABY COT: A baby travel cot (also known as a 'pack and play') and high chair are available upon request (for a surcharge), but we must have at least 3 days notice.
Please note - the travel cot mattress that comes with it is thin, as most travel cots are. We follow the Lullaby Trust's advice not to put any added mattress or padding into the travel cot for the child's safety.
We do not supply baby bedding for the travel cot.

London is constantly developing, therefore, some building works can occur from time to time in the local area, which can cause some noise during working hours 8am-5pm.
