Very sweet

beach cottage with beautiful views. We cut our stay short due to a big incoming storm, but enjoyed the time we spent there. Kitchen is well stocked and location is close to Morro Bay, good restaurants.

A most charming vacation rental

I just can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about this charming house! Our hosts were helpful and communicative, and the house is welcoming the second you walk in the door. Everything is clean and updated—a great kitchen and dining area, and we enjoyed games every night and breakfast every morning with the large window views of the ocean. I can sure understand why this place has been given nothing but five star reviews. Thanks for a wonderful weekend—it went way too fast.

Home away from home

Loved staying in Sheri’s home. It had everything from comfortable beds, all the kitchen items to cook our meals, towels/linens and toiletries. The only thing was the internet was a little slow according to my kids (who play on tablets and laptops) but that was not reason why we were there. We took an gorgeous walk in the Elfin forest at the end of the block and my husband had an amazing morning run down to the bay and around the neighborhood. Perfect location for the wedding we attended in San Luis and close to family. Thank you for a lovely stay! We hope to be back again.,

Location and view!

The location is great if you enjoy walking @ Los Osos, the Bay and the Elfin Forest. The view from the rear deck, especially sunsets is great.

Solid, friendly, comfy

We were reminded of staying at Grandma’s house. In a good way! Comfortable, fully equipped, plenty of everything esp. hot water! Just down the street from the Elfin Forest - you have to go for a walk! Also just down the street to the bay, High Street restaurants and Monday afternoon farmer’s market! An easy drive to Montaña de Oro and Morro Rock/Bay. This was a great home base for our visit to SLO County!

Girlz mountain biking weekend

The location was great. The description was spot on. Really nice to have garage access as we had mountain bikes. The kitchen is beautiful. Wish we had the time to stay longer.

Sister reunion

I rented this house for a short reunion with my 4 sisters. The property was awesome. A great view of the bay from the back balcony, a short block away from an amazing are called the Elfin Forest (dwarf dune oak area with boardwalks and interpretive signs - a wonderful gander). Walking around Los Osos was fun (the small downtown is just a few blocks away) and getting to Moro Bay to kayak and play was just a short drive. The house was solid and clean and provided a visually pleasant and physically comfortable place for us to gather, chat and reminisce. The kitchen was nicely stocked, the beds were comfortable, the living room was cozy and comfortable. The owner and manager were both very easy to work with – very communicative and helpful. All in all – highly recommended.

Central Coast Getaway

This was the perfect family home for our short stay on the central coast. The large kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The deck had a lovely view of the back bay and Morro rock. We would rebook again.

Weekend Away

We stayed here for our annual get together with another family. The house was perfect. It had a comfy living room/kitchen space where we could share time together. The view of the bay and the rock were excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and close to restaurants and services (grocery store, bank, gas station, etc.). We are looking forward to returning next yer.

Beautiful Views

This property is a bit pricey for what it is. The kitchen was beautiful but otherwise it seemed a bit run down and not as clean as I would have liked. It say’s no pets, but there was clearly pet hair in the corners of the living room and under the furniture. The front door looked like someone had tried to break in which was a bit unnerving. The neighborhood was nice, although two of the bedrooms had a lot of traffic noise.

We loved this property. The views from the kitchen/living room/deck are fantastic. The layout of the house worked well for our family. The house has lots of natural light. It is right next to an Elfin Forest entrance. Check in and out was easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay for Christmas

Love this property. Our family of four stayed here over Christmas and it was the perfect spot. Great view of Morro rock off the balcony and was able to take the kids (2 and 5) on a short walk to the Elfin forest. Plus elementary school playground quick drive away to get their energy out. Very nice kitchen, fully stocked, including snacks! Laundry in garage worked great and was super convenient. Plenty of space in the living room for us to set up a small Christmas tree with presents and stockings AND Santa came! We were able to enjoy Christmas morning just us 4 before heading over to the larger family Christmas festivities.

Very nice kitchen & lovely view. Beds were comfortable. It was on the corner of a busy street & there was traffic noise in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. Other than that, it was a good stay.

Wonderful Los Osos get away

We had great weekend stay at this home in Los Osos. It is seconds away from the trails of the Elfin Forest and a central location for exploring the central coast including Morro Bay and SLO. The home was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. We would definitely stay here again.

Sanctuary in the Elfin Forest

The home was clean and well-organized, with a fully stocked and completely remodeled kitchen. The view of Morro Rock and the Bay was beautiful. The host was incredibly responsive to all of our questions (even the dumb ones). A great home base for a weekend at the coast.

Los Osos / Morro Bay Getaway

We enjoyed 4 great days in the Morro Bay area. The VRBO house in Los Osos we perfect for out stay. The house was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. The back deck faced west and we enjoyed a number of wonderful sunset. Our hosts were easy to work with. We recommend this house.
