I had an unfortunate experience at Mint house leading to a discounted stay. The room itself was not in great condition, soft furnishings were all stained and the bathroom was very dated. The balcony door has no means of locking which didn’t cross my mind as an issue until two men showed up without warning on a crane to paint it. Cleaniness was subpar- stains, used smoking cartridges left behind, mold mildew showers, aink is slow draining and backed up, toilet seat broken, luggage rack broken. Furniture has seen better days. The location and concept are great but lacks in execution. Does not help with it being virtual and no one in lobby to assist immediately.

Great location for us this trip... not too far to Broadway and not too far to my husband's meetings. The only "bad" part was the mold... the shower needs a DEEP cleaning! Black mold... horrible to breathe. It needs some bleach! Thankfully I packed my flip-flops which I used as shower shoes.

This is for the 11th Ave S Mint House location, no the one on Division St with the pool. In short, I would definitely stay here again. The only reason I’m giving the place 4 instead of 5 stars is the difficulty with building access upon arrival. Once that issue is resolved, I think this property will be in great shape. It has so much to offer for out-of-state travelers. This was a full studio apartment, complete with a kitchen, living room area, and washer and dryer. It was very nice and cost less than most of the chain hotels near the conference center. My only complaint about the lodging itself was that the shower floor was badly chipped. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, they offered a nice assortment of coffee and tea, the view from my window was lovely, and it was only about a 15-minute walk to the conference center or 15–20 minutes to all the fun on the Honky Tonk Highway. Beyond the great apartment, price, and location, there are a few other perks to staying here. There’s a rooftop terrace on the 5th floor (I believe it’s only accessible from the main elevator). I went up there every morning with my coffee to watch the sunrise before heading to the conference center. Don’t miss it while you’re here! There’s also a common area on the 1st floor with a large TV, couches, and a workspace with a printer.

The WiFi barely worked and cell phone reception is awful so if you need to work or take calls this isn't the place. Staff was responsive via text but did not attempt to resolve the issue. Room 322 is run down. It was clean enough but scuffed walls, tiles in the bathroom were chipped where you need to stand in the shower. Just generally run down. I didn't have an issue with check in because I read the other reviews about it and downloaded the key app ahead of time, but I saw a few other parties struggling to get in. The pros were the keurig, comfy bed, and fluffiest towels ever. Location is good. Overall it was fine, but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Only good thing about this place is the location. I booked here because it showed a pool, I also called and talked to someone that said the pool was open year round. There is NO pool. Extremely false advertising on their part. Don’t have photos of a pool on your web page if there isn’t one. Extremely frustrating. There was also no way for us to get into the building, the instructions didn’t work and we had to keep waiting for people to let us in. As soon as we checked in we quickly realized there was no water in our room at all. Nobody had notified us, I had to contact the building to find out a pipe had burst. It wasn’t clean at all, the shower floor was completely chipped and there was marks all over the walls, the couch was also disgustingly stained. (I wish I could attach photos.) The entire stay was extremely disappointing for the price we paid. Would absolutely not recommend to anyone.
