Great coastal rental

Amazing hiking trails. Being by the wild life sanctuary was amazing. Seeing all the Elk was a great experience for my grandkids. I don't ever remember hearing so many different song birds. The neighborhood is filled with charming locals. Overall great family trip. Thank you.

Cute place. Close to great towns and beaches.

I liked the house. It was clean and had great space for a family. Two small things need updating. Kitchen fry pans are old and rusty, and the curtains covering the hot tub area are ripped and an old bright orange. Very odd. But overall the stay was pretty nice and we had a great time!

The TV did not work. There were 4 remotes, but no instruction for anything. Someone did come to get a gray screen on the TV, but still no instruction to get channels. Usually there is an instruction card for this. Everyone brought their laptop for the second week.The refrigerator door does not open fully so the vegetable drawer is unusable.

House was lovely but the master bed frame was miserable and there was fire alarm on the ceiling the flashed like a strobe light.

Cute spot with a good location

Cute little house about 20 minutes away from Cannon Beach and Seaside. Overall, the house was decent. They do need to add with no coverings to all of the Windows especially the ones in the main living areas because it definitely feels like you’re in a fish bowl. Like the other reviews, the beds are not great could benefit from a mattress topper. Other than that would stay here again.

Decent, but wouldn't stay again

The area itself and the neighborhood is great, quiet, there is a park right across the street to take your dogs. Although this house is dog friendly, the house/yard is not fenced, so you can't just let your dog out. The dogs must be leashed. The house needs more blinds or curtains, from the master bedroom doorway, the neighbors could technically see if you were standing there dressing. The master bedroom bed frame was AWFUL. Any movement from anyone and you hear the metal bedframe hitting the wall or squeaking. The hot tub was dirty, and the lid was broken, you have to have 2 people to open or shut it. The images of the hot tub location is deceitful as well, there are curtains surrounding it in the backyard, and that is the only barrier, the curtains do not go up high enough, so the neighbors could technically watch you from their upstairs window. It was windy a couple of the days when we were staying and I had to use my hair clips to try to pin the curtains together so we had a bit more privacy, otherwise they just blew around in the wind. The house overall, just seemed like it wasn't clean.. like someone did a half-a** job cleaning it, and they wouldn't allow early check in so they can prepare the house. ALL the towels smelled like mildew, we had to re-wash them prior to use, at least they had detergent to be able to do that. I think someone else mentioned that the washer leaks, it appears it is still leaking. Vacasa is not doing a good job.

Cute house

The house is very cute and spacious as well as tidy. That said, every single towel and sheet in the house smelled intensely of mildew which also made the rooms smell. We had to soend a couple hours re-washing everything and airing out the house.

Nice home , but needs some attention

Cute home , but needs deep clean ( baseboards especially ) slight musty /pet odor . The beds are really bad , we saw other complaints/reviews about them but apparently the owner isn’t listening. They have permanent indentations and lumps from being worn out. Other than that , great location and works for a family

Needs a good cleaning to be a 5 star. Place was crawling with spiders and cobwebs. Lots of little things that added up to experience not being as great. House and amenities were pretty solid. Beds were ok. Just felt dirty with all the cobwebs.

Very run down and need of updating. Laminate floor was coming up, beds squeaky and very used. Our room was next the pool and laundry which woke us at 2:00 am with loud noise from the machines. Wry disappointing especially after reviewing photos, will not be recommending a stay there.

Too many issues

No WiFi during entire trip, poor communication from Vacasa management - issue was never resolved. Confusing parking situation. Dirty hot tub. Dirty interior and carpets. I’ve stayed at lots of places and this was near the bottom. It’s a cute house in a great neighborhood but the owners and or property management team have seriously neglected it and take no pride in this rental.

Family of four with a small dog and it was a bit cramped for us, although that’s no fault of the home. However, the couch was awful, I could actually feel the springs in each seat. The master bed has an AWFUL squeak that kept me and my husband from sleeping. We had to sleep on the floor it was so bad! Not what I want to do on a weekend getaway. The house and hot tub were clean and the location is perfect, however we will not be back.

The carpets in the house were disgusting and very dirty. I had to go back and put my flip flops on before going into the master bedroom. Beds need to be replaced they are lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedding in master should be replaced it is in pretty bad shape. I was surprise the kitchen cooking items were not in better shape or missing. No can opener, cookie sheets were rusted and had food on them. I think someone needs to go thru those items. I expected at least 1 roll of paper towels in the unit.

Comfy but…

Place is great just needs a new(clean) grill that doesn’t start a grease fire and some clips or hooks or lattice or something for the privacy curtains on the hot tub. Otherwise clean and comfy. Oh and big bed is CREAKY.

Had a Great Snowy Xmas Stay

We were three couples and a dog, and we had a great time. The couch was lumpy, and the curtains around the hot tub could use some weight on the bottom to keep the wind from blowing it horizontal, but that doesnt mean less than 5 stars is warranted.
