Wonderful NOLA stay

We had the best time! The house is in a great location! Really close to the Superdome. It’s very spacious and clean. The beds were also pretty comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Urban Oasis

We had a very enjoyable experience staying at the Urban Oasis. Great location, tons of space for family and friends. We had two rental cars with spots for both. The host was very responsive to minor requests. Would definitely stay again when we visit NOLA.

Really nice property, owner was very responsive with any questions or concerns. Classic New Orleans shotgun house, great for exploring the city. Gas station across the steeet makes some good po boys

Time with friends and family.

This location was perfect for our group trip to NOLA. It's very close to everything, and uber/lyft's were easy to get. The area has several good options to eat right in the neighborhood within walking distance. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone, and would 10/10 recommend for group travel to the Crescent city.

House was clean and spacious for our extended family. Location is convenient to CBD/Quarter. Private off street parking is big plus. Only issue is neighborhood is not best but, always felt safe.

Peaceful NOLA

Beautiful and spacious property!!! Love the antique and rustic accents keeping the historic feel of the original home, and yet still blends in some modern features. This was a peaceful and relaxing location with no troubles from the outside world!! Will definitely use as a getaway again soon!

Amazing 10/10 recommend

The property was conveniently located near local restaurants and food stores, all in walking distance. The property is located on a busy street but it was usually quiet on weekends with more traffic on the weekdays which is expected. There was one maintenance issue within the house but I spoke with the property owner and was assured it would be taken care of. I would absolutely book this property again should I return to New Orleans.

Not the best

Absolutely no amenities, not even Kleenex. Toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags and towels were present along with 2 spice mixes obviously left by the last guests. A small amount of coffee or fruit might be a nice welcoming offer. One night a disturbed drunk screamed, yelled, and pounded outside. Police responded two hours later. The air conditioning was not uniform with the front of the house too warm, while the rear was chilly. All in all, not our favorite rental.

Great weekend in NOLA

We had a fantastic weekend at this property. There were eight of us, and we fit comfortably into this large townhome with 3 full bathrooms. You'll have to take an Uber or the streetcar to get to the French Quarter, but the location is otherwise fine. Brunch at the Ruby Slipper was delicious. There is a Whole Foods just down the street to grab food and drinks for your stay. Isaac made the check-in, check-out process easy, and was a great host - providing very helpful instructions and NOLA tips.

Everything was perfect. Unfortunately, we messed our cars up pretty bad trying to access the backyard. Lots of construction work on the side street of the house.

Loving New Orleans

We had 8 adults, age 81 to 24, and a 6 month old. I will have to admit, not knowing the area, I was a bit concerned when we first drove up. I met the man next door and he was very nice. The interior was very nice, and quite spacious. Loved having plenty of seating in living room and dining table fire everyone. I brought k cups But didn’t need because there’s a coffee maker with a pot. The only small negative was since it’s an older home, the bedrooms were a comfortable temp, but the living area was a bit chilly (outside was high in low to mid 50s and rainy.). That’s just how older homes can be. The beds were all very comfortable and the location is very convenient to French quarter. All in all, a great trip

NOLA stay

We are a group of friends who rent a house together for several days after or before we attend a national meeting. We like to have time to see "where we are" and not just the inside of the hotel where our meetings take place. This home was just as clean and nice as the pictures showed. We cooked our dinners and had lunches out while we were exploring the area. We found everything we needed for cooking. Dining area had plenty of room for our group too. Isaac contacted me after we arrived to check on us and see if anything was needed. We would stay there again.

Great NOLA Stay

The house was excellent - plenty of room, a lots of places for people to sleep (even more if you're ok sharing beds) and the house itself is everything you'd want. It stays cool when it's warm outside, all the appliances are great, the place is very cozy and clean as well. Check out was also a breeze, everything was perfectly reasonable. One thing I will note, the neighborhood is not the best - it's a bit dirty and not the best place to walk around (especially at night). BUT this wasn't a big deal because Ubers are extremely cheap (compared to city Ubers, it's amazing), so you can just take one to downtown/French Quarter and be there in 10min. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you're in a bigger group, it's definitely worth it if you don't mind getting a couple of Uber rides here and there, and you will always feel good going back to if after a long day/night.
