Great value stay in non-touristy area.
It’s a great value forrye money!theis newer place is away from the touristy areas and in a smaller area where many locals are. There’s a small Pho place across the street where I ate several times
It was low/rainy season and I had the dorm room to my self, then a friend joined in for a few days. During my six day stay, none of the room or toilet waste cans were emptied nor linens change. The aircon was very effective and loved the new sheets. Bring your own towel. Self Laundry can be done for 25,000 dong plus 5,000 detergent on a very new machine.
Staff was excellent on providing answers with Google translator. Staff was around at all hours if anything was needed.
Prepare your own breakfast with maximum two fresh eggs, bread, one cup of delicious (iced) coffee, jam, and butter. The kitchen area was piled high with a lot of dishware on the counter and the power to the hot plate was not secure. You can buy several other items for a reasonable price such as bottled water, instant noodles, beer, and you can rent two scooters.
I really enjoyed my stay here as the beds are new and excellent staff very nice. It was a bit strange for me to have the kitchen and bathroom essentially one big room. Construction was going on next door the last two days,and the staff was apologetic, but that’s the price of progress.
