A nice stay but cheap development

Overall we had a very nice time. The house was huge and had what we needed. A few things could have been better: The hosts did not provide our check in code in time, provided no pool toys/floats, slim on supplies to prepare a big meal, there was no house guide book to let us know how to work things, how to prepare things when we left, etc (I think we figured it all out?), we had to log into our own accounts to watch Netflix, etc. The furniture was incredibly low quality. The pool faces north which was a huge bummer and I wish they would state that in the listing. The resort amenities were very nice. The neighborhood feels barren since it is so new and doesn’t have mature landscape.

NICE BUT BE AWARE

The building itself and the rooms are as pictured and our family enjoyed our stay there. However, it is owned by a company, not an individual and there are several deficiencies. Communication with them is difficult because when you call them you get a receptionist and you have to identify your unit. The INTERNET SERVICE is a community connection, not their own private service so there are times when we had slow speeds or lost connection to our electronic devises, including the TV's shown. We had to walk outside the front of the unit to make CELL PHONE CALLS because there was little service and dropped calls. We requested several maintenance repairs and the only time they came was to replace the broken lock on the back door. KITCHEN: The fridge is way too small to accommodate a ten bedroom unit. Pots and pans are sparse, and no hot pads, dishcloths, hand towels. The picture of the blue sectional in front of the TV is really individual pieces made with a wood frame and covered with the blue material and a little padding. It's very uncomfortable as are all the rest of the chairs except the ones at the dining table. POOL/HOT TUB. If you pay to have it heated they didn't turn it on in advance of our arrival and we had to call them when we got there. Be aware that it's one or the other that gets the heat. Not both. Unfortunately it took so long to heat the pool that we didn't use it. BATHROOMS have one towel rack: no hooks. No place to hang wet suits and towels
