This was a really depressing and downbeat place to stay. It was a real shambles and in a state of advance neglect and disrepair. Not a good experience.

Neither a boutique, nor a hotel, a largish 1980s apartment badly in need of a refresh. - place was exceptionally grimy with horrid carpet and unexplained stains on walls and counter, although the linens were clean. Parking garage inaccessible so parked in street. Probably normally ok for FIFO miners, not really a “family vacation” type place.

Not even sure where to begin... The location is suitable, close to the city, restaurants etc. However, it is poorly maintained. From cracked and broken tiles, to holes in the curtains, brocken cupboard doors hanging off the hinges, stove top yuck, oven..don't even go there...toilet and shower off the pool area has been dismantled years ago, and still sits with the rubble pulled off it where it fell...Stairwells are used as toilets, with the heat the vapours from the suspects whom urinate on them raise, making it quite disgusting. Had to request towels as only provided one towel for each of the guests for whole week. And finally got asked three times in the week if I had parked my vehicle in the parking area, attempting to charge me over and over again, after I secured the parking for a week at $120. Appears to be simply a money making machine, with no concept of customer service, and or satisfaction. Add to that, the fact that sleeping in this establishment is pure luxury, with sirens, screaming drunken crews all night long. These thugs urinate on the street, fight, scream, and vandalise whatever they can get their hands on. So, in a word, would I come back? not in a million years, or if it was the last accommodation in Australia!!! I rather sleep on the gutter, it may be cleaner, and safer !!!
