The mansion was very charming and steeped in history, We appreciated the attention to detail in the decor and the comfortable furnishings, It was a bit remote, but that added to the peaceful atmosphere, If you're looking for a quiet retreat with a touch of luxury, this is the place to be

The size and location were good. I had thought that there was private parking but it was actually on the road side. Luckily the road was very quiet. The fittings - furniture, bathroom fittings and kitchen ware - were old and worn. There was lots of crockery but few pieces of cutlery and mugs - unless you wanted chipped or plastic ones. Bearing in mind the house was for 6 this (mugs and cutlery) would have been a problem but we had our own mugs and were often only 2 in the house. The house was well positioned for the beaches and very quiet.

Absolut fantastisk ejendom! Kombinationen af antik møbler og moderne faciliteter gjorde vores ophold utrolig behageligt, Pejsen gav en hyggelig stemning om de kolde aftener, mens udendørsområdet var perfekt til sommeraftener, Værterne var opmærksomme og fik os til at føle os hjemme, Jeg kan ikke vente med at vende tilbage og udforske flere lokale attraktioner som Botanisk Have i Caen!

Een werkelijk prachtige plek: in een soort micro dorpje van oude zandstenen huizen en boerderijen en een landgoed. OP de heuvel (100m) een oude kerk die helaas gesloten is voior het publiek (er schijnen bizarre beelden in te staan). Het huis is ruim, goed geïsoleerd en met een grote open haard centraal in de huiskamer. Ook een open haard (maar niet te gebruiken) op een van de slaapkamers. helaas ruiken beide open haarden constant naar rook. Die lucht hangt in een een flink deel van het huis. Het went wel snel. De open haard in dekamer kan je gebruiken (er is hout), maar aanmaken moet je rigoreus doen, anders staat het hele huis vol rook (ja, ook met de schoorsteenklep helemaal open). Die rooklucht kostte dit huis voor ons 1 ster. Voor de rest: geweldig! Je hebt een groot stuk eigen tuin grenzend aan een heel grote vijver. Creuilly (2 km verderop) heeft alle voorzieningen en is zelf ook erg charmant als stadje.

Het huis was fantastisch. Mooi ingericht, voorzien van alle gemakken en drie badkamers, smaakvol. Alles werkt prima en is in goede staat. Open haard is uitstekend, keuken mooi en goed uitegrust. Kortom, een meer dan prima vakantieverblijf.

Prachtig mooi huis, heerlijke bedden en goede douches. Bad niet ideaal, geen mogelijkheid om douche op te hangen en geen douchegordijn waardoor groot waterballet maar ach… dat droogt wel weer! Ruime woonkamer beneden verwarmd door open haard. We hebben genoten in de avond na een dag op pad te zijn geweest… heerlijk! Vanuit accommodatie genoeg te doen in de omgeving, wij hebben genoten. Enige nadeel is dat als iedereen in de ochtend heeft gedoucht er in de avond geen warm water meer was… dit had waarschijnlijk ook te maken met de buren die in de avond (nogmaals) gebruik hadden gemaakt banned douche. Eigenaar spreekt geen Engels zoals wel in de omschrijving staat… met hand-en voetwerk kwamen we er wel uit maar was wel teleurstelling. Verder superweek gehad!

Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung waren problemlos. Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr schön renoviertes und hochwertig ausgestattetes Nebengebäude des Schlosses Pierrepont. Dazu gehören auch ein Freisitz mit Grill und ein großer Garten. Das Meer ist ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bestehen in Creully (Bäckerei, Obst und Gemüse, Metzgerei, kleiner Supermarkt).

Adres is goed te vinden, maar op locatie was de beheerder lastig te vinden. Eerste indruk was dat het er mooi uitziet, dat is gebleven. Prachtige tuin, sfeervol ingericht, keukeninventaris compleet. Bij aankomst was vaatwasser nog niet leeggeruimd, zaten glazen en servies vol met kalk lekken en bleek savonds dat de achterdeur niet op slot kon. Dit laatste is uiteindelijk twee dagen later, op maandag, direct opgelost, maar een luxe landhuis waar je met een stoel onder de klink moet slapen, was niet wat we verwacht hadden. Omgeving is mooi. Veel dingen op redelijke rijafstand (binnen half uur).

Ons vakantiehuis was makkelijk en goed te bereiken en we zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Een prachtige woning met drie echte slaapkamers voor zes personen en 3 badkamers, mooi ingericht (in een stijl die past bij het huis) en met een mooie, ruime en goed onderhouden tuin - zalig om buiten te eten. Zeer rustig gelegen ook en niet te ver gelegen van een aantal Normandische trekpleisters.

Bijzonder huis met mooie grote tuinen eromheen. Vlakbij typisch Frans dorpje met een geweldige bakker. Bayeux, Normandie stranden en veel cultuur en natuur binnen een uur rijden.

een prachtig gerenoveerd onderdeel van chateaux dat heel stil is gelegen. helaas vonden wij de buitenzit mogelijkheden , in de enorme tuin, wat lastig gelegen. geen openslaande deuren naar keuken of zitkamer maar alleen via de eetkamer en dan nog een eindje weg. het kleinere apartement naast ons had dat wel. Ook mistte wij de zon, alles lag in de schaduw. aankleding is keurig al is het water waarschijnlijk kalkrijk en dat zie je aan het glaswerk. wij kochten zelf nieuwe glazen... Ontvangst aardig en blij een lekkage is er meteen iemand gekomen. OOk tuin etc is groot en ziet er fantastisch uit. beneden geen verwarming, alleen open haard voor hele verdieping , keuken, eetkamer etc. boven is verwarming. Hierdoor door vele regen ( kunnen zij niets aan doen) wel vochtig. lakens, handdoeken etc zijn echt heel mooi en goed verzorgd!

Geweldig mooi opgeknapte oude boerderij, van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is veel aandacht aan de inrichting besteed waardoor er een gezellige en prettige atmosfeer is. Buiten is er een groot terras en een enorme tuin waar je lekker in de zo'n of schaduw kan zitten en je kan met een bootje op de vijver varen. Voor eventuele fietsen is een grote schuur beschikbaar.

De eerste week van september hebben wij, een echtpaar, hier samen doorgebracht met onze twee volwassen dochters. Het huis is geschikt voor zes personen en zeer ruim. Het gaat om een smaakvol en sfeervol gerenoveerde historische woning, waarbij veel natuurlijke materialen zijn gebruikt. Wel moderne gemakken als Wifi. Overigens is het pand voorzien van heel goede bedden. Het eigenaars echtpaar is zeer sympatiek (spreekt goed engels) en staat direkt voor je klaar bij vragen. De huurprijs is hoger dan het gemiddelde, maar dat is het dubbel en dwars waard. Wij kijken terug op een heel fijne week.

Sfeervol en goed ingericht huis. Het is ideaal gelegen en alle historiche en culturele bezienswaardigheden zijn goed te bereiken. Ook culinair kun je in de omgeving aan je trekken komen. De huisbewaarder is een aardige, rustige man die uitstekend Nederlands spreekt. We voelden ons er erg thuis en het is zonder meer een aanrader.
