Cozy Loft With Roof Terrace

Cozy and spacious 1.5 BDR loft in the very centre of Riga in 15 minute walking distance from old town. 36 roof windows fill apartment with sunlight and a roof terrace gives you an amazing opportunity to watch sun sets over beautiful city rooftops.

Staying at our place will keep you fit as well since there is no elevator which is true for most of Riga historical (100+ yo) buildings.

All the artwork in the apartment is authentic and brought from different parts of the planet while we were living here with family until it got too small for us. Wether you are a couple for a romantic trip, family with kids or visiting alone for business, this is a cozy place to stay if you want to get that home like feeling.

There is one double bed in bedroom and single bed more suited for a child in the smaller children room behind sliding glass doors which you can see in living room pics. Sorry didn't have children room pics at the moment.

Parking is super easy on the street. You will never drive around to find a place regardless of time of the day/week. It is free from 8pm-8am and relatively cheap during day. For longer stays we recommend using secured parking lot which is in 300 meters from building.

Diese Dachgeschosswohnung ist genau so wie sie beschrieben wird. Hell, großzügig, gemütlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut, nicht zu weit von der Innenstadt (man kann zu Fuß gehen oder eins der vielen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzen) und vor allem in einer Strasse, die viele nette Cafés und Läden zu bieten hat. Der äußerst freundliche Vermieter reagiert bei Fragen sehr schnell und hat eine kleine Reparatur sofort selbst erledigt. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist umwerfend. Da das Wetter auch noch mitgespielt hat haben wir dort jeden Abend gesessen und den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Alles wie auf den Bildern, helle, großzügige Dachwohnung. Es hätte allerdings ein wenig sauberer sein können. Unkompliziert mit der Schlüsselübergabe und Hilfe per SMS. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Photos and words don't do justice to the beauty of this flat, one of the most remarkable I have stayed in around the world. Open, spacious rooms, two lovely bedrooms, a full kitchen, wonderful bathroom with deep bathtub, this flat has it all. Perfectly located in the Central District of Riga with all points of interest mere minutes away. Edgars was an excellent host, immediately available by text for questions and always helpful. Highly recommended.

Edgars was a wonderful host, checking in with me to ensure that I had everything I needed and even meeting me at the end of my visit. I really appreciated having a washing machine in the bathroom, as I was traveling for a month and needed to freshen my clothes. And a hair dryer! The space is tastefully decorated, not bland and impersonal. I do have a few suggestions to make the space more comfortable for an American traveler: my back would have appreciated a thicker mattress on the slat wood bed frame (none of the 3 beds had springs or a comfortable mattress). The second suggestion is to get rid of the little rug under a plant in the living room, as the rug carries the scent of a cat's litter box. Other than these two suggestions, this was a marvelous place to stay in Riga. And, if you need a work-out, climbing the 111 steps up the 6 flights of stairs will give your glutes and hamstrings a good toning!
