Given the amenities (free water bottle filling, free coffee/tea of all kinds all day) and great dining on site at a very reasonable price, plus the location (quiet and a bit removed from the center of things yet only a few minutes from them), this was a great hotel.

Well located, comfy and quiet

We stayed 3 days and this hotel was quiet, comfortable, sans only 10 minutes walking from main Street. Definately would go again if in the area again.

Highly recommend, for many reasons.

San Pedro de Atacama has a bustling dusty and active tourist center of 4 or 5 blocks by 4 or 5 blocks....This hotel is just outside the busy center, but very walkable and a welcome respite from the busyness...Hotel La Casa de San Tomas, and the added Refugio, offer a very peaceful and pleasing place to be once one has been to the town center or gone on an excursion to the surrounding natural beauty locations. The rooms are modern and large, many with beautiful views. The breakfast and dinner food is excellent, and all three meals are available. The front desk staff is very helpful.

A beautiful property just a 7 minute walk to the central street in San Pedro. Spacious rooms, parking facility, helpful staff, a good restaurant on the premises. 24 hour, free tea, coffee. Filtered water to fill your water bottles. Highly recommend.

Peaceful hotel with kind staff.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely, and eager to help or give recommendations. I had to keep asking for blankets as, despite the heater in the room, the nights in winter in San Pedro de Atacama are freezing! I loved the fact they had a refillable water station, to avoid people buying plastic bottles - well done! And the free tea and coffee station all day in the common area was also a nice touch. It was less than 10 minutes walk into the Main Street (just take a torch if you’re walking back after sunset) and I felt perfectly safe walking it alone. The hotel recommended a few tour companies, so I could book some trips and also thoughtfully provide breakfast bags so that you don’t miss out if your tour leaves before 7am.

We had an incredible 3-night stay at this hotel. It is close to the main streets of SPA and within walking distance of all the restaurants nearby. The front desk was very helpful. Our initial room was too noisy (right by the entrance), and the front desk had no issues moving us to a quieter corner. The breakfast was amazing. You get to try various pastries and hot items that that hotel restaurant has to offer. We also enjoyed the fresh fruit and smoothies offered during breakfast. You can find complimentary water, coca tea, and coffee 24/7 at the lobby. Bring a water bottle to save the planet. We also had dinner at the hotel on our first night. The lamb chop was to die for! There is a pool, but we never got to use it. We were here during the winter season (early June), so by the time we were back from any day trips, the pool was too cold for us to swim in. Highly recommended!!

Estada perfeita no Atacama

Excelente localização, podendo-se ir a pé ao centro e ao mesmo tempo silencioso. Quarto confortável e com uma vista incrível. Ótimos café da manhã, bar e restaurante. O hotel é bom, a cama é confortável, café da manhã bom, somente um pouco de ruído em alguns momentos a noite pelos corredores mas nada de mais. O hotel fica a 10 min do centro e da rua principal.

This hotel is a beautiful property located in an amazing town. The property is immaculate, well maintained and very comfortable. We love the minimalist aspect of the room including the pleasing absence of a television. The staff is very professional and very helpful. Each days activities required a box lunch and each day this was ready for us before we left no matter how early. 5-stars for this property.
