Although I had been to Bermuda on two other occasions this romantic golf vacation exceeded my expectations by far. Staying at Hotel Silvia at Panatola along with our rented Yoyo electric car were the threads that tied all our great experiences together. The studio in Southampton Parish was the perfect location for easy access to golf courses, beaches and restaurants. Best of all it was quiet solitude. We were not sad leaving Bermuda after 6 days because we began planning out next trip to Bermuda staying at Silvia's Hotel.

Relaxing with great view

Great week. We choose home up on hill for better view. Close to the popular beaches. Also food market quick ride. Of course restaurants also. This is our 4th visit to Bermuda, first VRBO and will definitely contact Silvia at Panatola Studio when we are able to come back again. Patty & Chris Crane /NJ

Outstanding location, excellent apartment with everything needed for week's stay

Great location, Silvia is a wonderful host, and their labradoodle Lola is a extra special bonus treat. Silvia recommended an excellent shuttle from the airport to the Fairmount Bridgehampton, the driver dropped us at the back of the hotel and it was a 5 minute walk to the house. She recommended Smatts Cycles (next to the hotel), we rented push bikes for 5 days and toured the entire island. The railway trail was very good in most places - highly recommend it. Great ride from the house down the hill to the rail trail, then out to the Dockyards. Could bike 5 minutes to the grocery store, cooking facilities were great. Had great dinner at the Dining Room restaurant at the lighthouse - 7 minute walk up the hill from the house. Great location for the south coast beaches, all wonderful.

Quaint, convenient, perfectly stocked, beautiful view...simply lovely

My husband and I went for a quick get-away. We weren't familiar with Bermuda and feel lucky we settled on Silvia'a place. We walked to the grocery store for staples ( but you can take the local bus) and we walked to beautiful beaches. (We recommend the eco walking tour of the beaches.) The kitchen was stocked with all the plates, dishes and utensils we needed. Silvia kindly left us a small juice and a milk. We enjoyed breakfast and cocktails looking out over the boats bobbing in the bay. We felt charmed by Silvia's place the moment we hit the corner to the entrance. We opened the French doors and the windows and let the breezes wash over us. The bed was comfortable, bathroom large with plenty of towels, and it boasted lots of closet space. We took the bus to the dockyard and into Hamilton. It was a short walk up or down the hill to catch one. We got our tokens at the Fairmont, also close. There were nice restaurants within walking distance. Silvia left us a prepaid cell phone that allowed us to make dinner reservations at those restaurants and call for cabs when desired. To top it all off, my husband thought he left his sun glasses on a bus, but Silvia found them and offered to mail them to us! We know that if it had been a hotel, it is likely we would have never seen them again. I highly recommend this property and its host!

It was great to be back in Bermuda and I was super happy with Panatola. It’s a great studio and close to everything. I rented a scooter which made it super convenient but it’s very close to the bus routes if you’re on foot. I would definitely stay here again

Perfect studio!

Silvia was an amazing host. The studio couldn’t have been any nicer and near all of Bermuda’s main attractions. Horseshoe Bay was just minutes away! Highly recommend if you need the perfect little place to stay with incredible views. Thank you Silvia!

Great location

My wife and I had wonderful time at Panatola and Sylvia was a great host. Bermuda is such a wonderful island and everyone is so friendly. The unit was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Great times sitting outside at night. Easy walk to the beaches and Railway Trail. Thank you!

The property was private and quite. The views were nice. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach. There was a hotel nearby where you can have a meal. Taxi service was a phone call away.

As a frequent traveler I've stayed at all the hotels and resorts and like to stay at local places to get a better experience of the local cultures. Thus property was just that. Clean, safe, within walking distance of beaches, grocery and restaurants. Sylvia the hostess was very friendly and helpful. The property had beautiful views and was relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would sray ther again.

Wonderful!

This was our second time staying here. We had another wonderful time! It’s such a pretty walk to Horseshoe Bay and a bus stop is close to get anywhere you want to go. When our taxi was running late to go home, Silvia’s husband brought us to the airport with their sweet dog Lola in tow. Thank you so much!

We were there from Tuesday, Apr 30 through Wed., May 8. Silvia, the owner, was very helpful and pleasant. Location near a bus stop and the Fairmont Southampton hotel was big plus. Also more than a few good restaurants were within walking distance. Private location, great view.

Great Southampton Location

My wife and I spent just under a week at Panatola. It's location was perfect for us: within walking distance to the south shore beaches, several restaurants and Gibb's Hill Lighthouse, and easy access to the Railway Trail (great for early morning runs). The apartment was bright, well ordered, and quite honestly larger than the pictures make it look. Plenty of utensils and cookware in the kitchen for those of you that don't want to eat out every meal. There is also a Twizy charger onsite, which made it possible for us to never worry about a full battery for the three days we had our electric car rental. Lastly, our host Silvia was extremely kind and responsive to all of our questions. She even scheduled our taxi to pick us up for the airport for our flight home. Panatola was a great home base to experience Bermuda.

Lovely property in a great location

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days. The property is perfectly located to walk to several beaches, stores, many restaurants, scooter rental and Gibbs lighthouse. Silvia was lovely to work with and adds nice thoughtful touches to her studio. The view is beautiful and the studio is quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this location. Clean, very quiet, great location with access to so much, so close!

We were welcomed by the owner when we arrived and given a tour of the property. We found the grounds clean and well maintained as well as the apartment. The apartment had everything we needed, including 2 beach bags with two beach chairs, snorkels, and extra beach towels. The kitchen was well furnished and we did do a little cooking. It made the place feel like home to be able to cook a nice breakfast before our adventurous days. So close to the light house, the fairmont hotel, and two separate bus routes. Horseshoe bay beach was very close, and we made the walk several times. You can also take advantage of the fairmont hotel shuttle from time to time. The location of this property makes reaching anywhere on the island very manageable. We visited the dockyard, Hamilton (including Fort Hamilton) Horseshoe Bay, the Crystal Caves and Blue Grotto, Gibbs Hill Light House, and a nice BBQ at the Princess Hamilton Beach Club. We did all that in 5 days, 4 nights. That should demonstrate how accessible the island is from the property. We loved our stay, and we loved the island. I would definitely stay here again, and I would recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet, romantic getaway. This was our 15th Wedding Anniversary and we couldn't be more pleased.

Great location and spacious studio

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Silvia's place for 6 days. She is a gracious host. It is a great location - a 5 minute walk to the South Hampton Princess and we went to our favorite restaurant on the Princess property, The Ocean Club . We also walked to the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse for an excellent dinner. We rented a moped from Oleander's and went to St. George and the Naval Dockyard for an afternoon. We also loved going to Horseshoe Bay Beach almost everyday. The only negative we experienced were the tiny ants in the kitchen and Silvia said she would take care of it. A wonderful getaway!
