Cozy to the Max!

If you are looking for slick and ultra modern, move along. But, if you are looking for a charming, perfectly-appointed cottage, this is it! Everything was just right! The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up a couple of meals. The outdoor, under cover grill was clean, well-maintained, with nice, even heat. Everything was clean and fresh. The beds were indescribably comfortable. Our dog, Gracie, loved lounging in front of the fire. We recommend a stay at the Songbird Cottage!

Our experience at Songbird Cottage

We (a family of four) stayed at this property for a week in August on our family vacation. The location of the property is close to main attractions we wanted to visit and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The property was well kept, clean with all the amenities we needed. Only minor downside is the squeaky bathroom taps. There was lots of space (with a nice backyard) and the property was as advertised on the website. We liked the welcome letter and the binder with information on how things work in the property and the amenities in the community. We definitely recommend this property.

Last Minute Solution

I had a business meeting in the Spokane area and this home was the perfect solution. I looked and looked for a two bedroom suite hotel and found none. I am a vacation rental owner and I typically prefer short term rentals, so I looked again and found this gem. We met our clients on the back patio for a successful meeting in an enchanting garden setting. Home was excellent in every way. A perfect solution for our needs and at a price way better than any hotel. The beds were wonderful. Thanks Kat for your assistance and warm welcome. We'll be back! Thom

Comfortable, charming and convenient...would stay again!

We four sisters came to Spokane for a couple of days to visit extended family, and we wanted a place where we could feel at home. Songbird Cottage provided a place where we could linger over meals, lounge around, visit with each other, play games, and feel unhurried. We did need to get an HDMI cable to look at family pictures and things from the computer on the TV screen...so bring that if you need one. The beds were comfortable, and we all slept well. I also noticed provisions onsite for a flexible variety of family options. There were lots of kitchen tools, cooking and serving dishes, and a nice kitchen workspace. The home is within about 25 minutes from many things to do...the Spokane River Park and downtown area, hiking, geo-caching, the airport, and the large Spokane Valley Mall shopping area. One sister is a birdwatcher, and she took enjoyed taking pictures of birds at the backyard feeders. Lots of restaurant options are nearby also. We would love to stay again, next time we come to Spokane!

The house fit our needs for a home base . The little ones did really enjoy the back yard it was a safe place to play. The kitchen remodel was very nice the stove was really nice. Our only complaint was the wifi it was not guest useable, we had a couple of people who had to go find wifi for things to handle at their jobs. The location is great

Wonderful Stay, has everything one may need.

This house is bright, spacious, and clean. Each room was comfortable and well appointed. Every need has been anticipated and provided for. Quick response from the host and perfectly located for what we had planned. Wonderful stay.

Lovely property

Very lovely property both inside and with the beautiful back patio and yard. The layout of the home was spacious and so nicely decorated. OMG the beds were Amazingly comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with a park within walking distance which is nice when traveling with a dog as we were. We had the occasion to meet and visit with the owner who is such a kind person. We very much enjoyed talking with her. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Great location for a family!

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying here while we were in town visiting colleges. It's in a great location to get anywhere you want to around town with ease. The house was very clean and Kat was a top notch host! It got a little hot in the while we were here, so Kat came through with some extra cooling options for us to use. We really appreciated that extra service and highly recommend this place.

Perfect stay

From check in to check out, everything was perfect. A full equipped kitchen as advertised. There have been so many "fully equipped kitchens" we have stayed at, but have next to nothing. This truly had everything we could have needed and more. It made meal times a lot easier and no stress. We had such a good time staying here. It was a good place to relax after a day of visiting our family or being out exploring the outdoors. Thank you!

Great property in a convenient Spokane Valley location. Clean and tidy you will have all that is needed for your stay. Backyard is great for pet owners and allows you to bring your animals with. Highly recommend this great property. Never stay at a hotel again.

Great backyard and so well stocked!

We had a graduation party with family here and it was perfect! The fenced backyard (equipped with a beautiful grill) was fantastic with plenty of space for kids to run and dogs to play. We loved the covered patio and there was plentiful outdoor seating. The house had two private bedrooms (with ceiling fans) and a third sleeping space on the way to the backyard. The living room had comfy couches and again space for everyone. The kitchen was superbly stocked with everything you would need for a party and/or for a family (including kids’ dishes!). All the appliances (including a waffle maker and blender) were so convenient and well-maintained. There was a park (with a community pool) nearby and the neighborhood was cute and walkable. Kat was incredibly responsive and so helpful! Having young kids, we greatly appreciated the checkout process as well. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again!

What an enjoyable time for our family at Songbird Cottage! Very reasonable in price, quiet neighborhood, very clean and comfortable home!... really enjoyed the birds singing in the backyard!... loved the patio and fenced in backyard!....all our questions and needs were answered before and during our stay!.... very fun memory for our family .....

We've stayed in a number of homes. This was the best stocked house we've stayed in. Plenty of dishes and cookware and blankets and toys for kids. Very clean cute house and beautiful yard. Very nice owner who responded to questions quickly. Definitely a good place to stay.

Clean, Cozy, Comfortable

The house was amazing. It was clean, comfortably decorated and the beds in every room were amazing. The back yard is fully fenced and a great place for dogs and grandkids to play while adults enjoyed the covered patio with lots of outdoor furniture. The owner lives downstairs but she is not intrusive at all and quickly responded to all my questions. I would highly recommend this home and we will be returning.
