Damage and broken furniture in the lodge. Most light bulbs need replacing. Reported multiple problems about the lodge to the receptionist, told to email. These should have been put right during maintenance inspections. Cobwebs in all the rooms and very dusty. All outside lighting is very poor and switched off after 11 pm.

It’s a lovely place set in a park area with views from room balcony. Restaurant had good menu & food but unfortunately had run out of Chardonnay. Very nice staff. The biggest drawback for me was the bathroom set up with extremely small sink with no space to set anything and the high sided tub/shower was very difficult to get in and out with no handle bars to assist (& it was very slick when wet.)

Was a absolutely lovley stay will definitely be going back room was nice food was amazing pool is realy clean the only down thing was it said 24hour room service but when we called down they said the porter said no other than that it was a good stay we are jist gunna take food with us ie snacks

I have to say that all the staff at the cornwall were beyond reproach, they were excellent, nothing was too much trouble, reception on first check in, the bar, restaurant and housekeeping all deserve high praise, have stayed before at The Cornwall and would stay again
