While the chalet was clean and neat, we experienced issues not usual for a luxurious stay.
The house was cold when we arrived - the gas heater had just been turned and the temperature was 11 degrees inside. The agent sent two spot heaters but with three floors, had a cold night waiting for floor heating to warm up.
TV in main bedroom had been dropped - half pixels gone and the antenna connection had been pushed through the wall. The ensuite shower head was broken so couldn't use the shower.
Downstairs, antenna socket to another TV missing so couldn't use that TV either. Finally, the drying room heater would not turn on - we had wet outer clothing and shoes hanging about us. No instructions to follow on using electrical items (heaters etc) - we could only guess their workings - some not successfully.
The second day I called the agents about faults to be told snow stream appts were yet to be checked and maintained/upgraded - the agents hadn't got to our house yet. They arranged for a handyman to fix the things mentioned above, but already we were a couple of days into our stay.
We would have chosen another place in Thredbo if we had known the above facts.
