Amazing place!

This house is amazing and we loved our stay. The view is incredible and it is within walking distance to everything. The kitchen was also well stocked and the hot tub was very nice. We hope to come back and stay for longer.

Beautiful location

This is a wonderful, private location. We loved the decks, hot tub and watching the wildlife. Tofino Vacation Rentals does a great job managing this property. It was very clean, had very comfy beds and nice linens. Some people have noted that the building can use a little maintenance. While this is true, it is clear they are replacing windows and doors and I'm sure it is difficult to keep up with everything on a wooden building. This in no way affected our enjoyment of the property and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you TVR!

60th Birthday Trip

A lovely property with an outstanding view of the ocean. Close to town and a beach. The property managers were extremely prompt with responding to our request for additional firewood and they responded quickly to any questions. Very comfortable beds with a beautiful view of starry skies in the upstairs bedrooms. Would love to visit again.

We were blown away by this place. The views were spectacular, fantastic location close to town, and two bald eagles visiting every morning in the trees on the property. We will definitely be back!!!

Unforgettable Tofino Escape with Stunning Views

Our stay at Pacific Retreat was absolutely incredible — one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever experienced! The home is beautifully designed with sweeping ocean views, a private hot tub, and every comfort you could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked (even with spices and basics), and the open layout made it easy for our family to spend time together while enjoying the unforgettable view. Animal sightings from the deck included two bald eagles and a pod of orcas. We especially loved being walking distance to town centre, Tonquin Beach, and the nearby forest trails. The sunsets from the deck were magical, and soaking in the hot tub after a day of exploring was the perfect way to end each evening. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared — from cozy linens to clear instructions for check-in. Communication with staff was top tier - super impressive. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, upscale retreat in Tofino. We’ll be back!

Mom’s 80th Birthday

It was perfect. Beautifully situated for storm watching and eagle gazing. Lovely walk into town. And close to beach park. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. We made shortbread and prime rib dinner with Yorkshire pudding. We’ll be back for sure. Bit tough to find in the dark. Just need to get there earlier to enjoy longer. Wish check out was a tad later

Christmas Booking

We loved the house and the facilities. They were all at a very high standard. The host was very helpful by checking in to see if we had arrived and also the following day to see if we needed anything. They were always on hand to communicate with us and because of the time of year provided us with times where they were not available and left us with an emergency contact number. There was an impending storm and they sent us information on how to prepare ourselves for it. There were also emergency supplies provided just in case the power went out. It was our second stay at this beautiful property and would recommend it to anyone who is considering making a booking. Go for it, you will not be disappointed!

Beyond our imaginations!!!

My family and I cannot thank you enough for opening your home for others to enjoy! We were so fortunate to have been able to stay at The Pacific Retreat! We came to Tofino to celebrate my sisters wedding and my family was in awe of our luck!!! The sunsets were breathtaking and my children loved exploring the rocks! The walk into town was beautiful and easy--a great location for views, exploring Tonquin beach and trails, as well as a little playground down the street! The house is fully stocked with a functional kitchen, loads of games, super comfy beds, lots of towels, washer/dryer, and relaxing hot tub. Couldn't ask for anything more! Looking forward to coming back :D
