Great customer service, simple hotel but has everything I needed. Only negative side was that the tile in the room had some cracks. It would be nicer with a carpet there.But again, I enjoyed my stay overall.

Very respectful staff, and very helping, there's a restaurant that is annexed to the hotel and the food is very delicious and cost friendly. The train station is only a 1min walk away with convinience stores on the opposite side of the street, very convient location and easy to travel to, would definitely stay there again.

This was the first time for our group of four going to Japan. We each had our own room and while they were nothing flashy they had everything you’d need. The hotel staff was very friendly, made us feel comfortable and even helped us ship our luggage to the next hotel. The location is very convenient being just a few minutes away from the train station, konbinis and good restaurants. Shin-koiwa is a nice place away from the big city, while still having everything you need within walking distance.

Second Time

I stayed at this hotel last year and decided to stay here again because its so conveniently located. Less than a 5 minute walkbto the station, 20 minute ride to Asakusa or the Tokyo Skytree, and a great kebab place that's less than half a block away

I stayed in a smoking room for 12 days and I did not know until I checked my booking. They make sure the scent of smoke was not lingering and it was not noticeable at all during my stay. They consider your health as long as you tell them. Would stay here again next year

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but had an idea what I wanted as a solo traveler. Smile exceeded all of my expectations & made this an unforgettable vacation. The close vicinity to the train station was my biggest need, but this area here had it all & then some too! It’s quaint & curious, the staff and facility were awesome and I must recommend anyone with similar vacation #GOALS to book here.

Location just opposite a train station from where you could go anywhere in Tokyo. Thee was a 7 eleven right across the street so you could get food or anything there anytime of day or night. Free and lots of , tea, toothbrush, slippers and robe to use while you are there. Good shower pressure. Rooms are really small but window opens so you can get fresh air, carpet was a little dirty and bed was a little low close to the floor . Bathroom was a step up from the room and shower tub wall was high which was in all hotels in Japan

Affordable and Cozy Room!

It was a very clean and cozy room, the bed was on the smaller end but fit me and my friend perfectly fine. The location is not bad as it's right above a Jonathan's, across the street from 7/11, and is a 2 minute walk from the train station. They give you free towels everyday and in the lobby they provide many toiletries for free!

Stained mattress and mattress cover. Bathroom was not fully cleaned and had dirt stains in shower room and wall, and smelled like wet towels. Ceiling vent was caked with dirt. For what I paid, the cleanliness of my room was not acceptable.

During our stay we had 2 reservations, first room was alright, but a bit noisy outside. But the second room was covered in black mold and smelt bad, causing my partner to get sick. When asked to change rooms, they were unable to change due to limited vacancies but noted they would do a "mold cleaning". Upon returning the next day they noted we needed to switch rooms as the mold was too bad to clean. The hotel itself is very close to the station and had many food options around, but we would not recommend staying here due to the health risks present.
