Our stay was great! The beds are the most comfortable I’ve experienced at any rental property (and we’ve stayed at a lot!). The fire pit and chairs were perfect, provided fishing poles got lots of use, and the coffee/tea options were stellar. Having 2 different hangout areas was fantastic. We’d definitely stay here again!

The boathouse is my new "mind palace". The porch is what sold the rental, and it did not disappoint! The views of the river were spectacular with amazing bird sightings for my birder family. The upper porch was wonderful for early morning coffee & reading, while the lower porch was fantastic for evening cocktails & pool table tournaments. The house was very well appointed with comfy furniture & very comfortable beds. The two floors worked well with my son & partner taking the lower level & my husband, myself & our dog upstairs. The spiral stairway was very sturdy, but my dog wanted no part of it, so it was wonderful to have the back stairway outside the house to go up & down.As my other son & partner live in Marietta, we certainly plan to visit again! Thanks David for being an excellent & responsive host!
