Amazing stay in Yerevan

This place is perfection. The service and amenities are top-notch! And it offers a great view of the city from most of the rooms. The staff can speak perfect English and Russian. Breakfast is also amazing. All in all, we would happily stay here again.

Bad Experience

The rooms and breakfast were pretty decent. But on the last day, when one of our friends were getting out to get breakfast- he was closing the door and the handle came off. The housekeeping informed the receptionist - who took a look and left. We did not think much of it - as we had done nothing - except that it would have been a faulty handle in the first place. We were shocked when the lady ( named as “ Lilly” and who looked like a senior employee ) stopped our friends after our breakfast and accusing them like they had done the biggest crime and claiming to pay for the damages. Shocked by this disrespectful and horrendous behavior, we all went down to have a talk with her. Seeing that there was no point having arguments back and forth- we agreed to pay the amount - which was 20,000 AMD. We were totally taken aback as we had done nothing - except closing the door and in addition to the horrible treatment with the guests. How can they charge us if they had a faulty equipment? We realized we should have taken pictures prior to the stay. We also realized that there were problems with the door hinges for the toilet door - had something happen to the door while we were staying - they would have put that also on us. Having experienced this - we took a good look at our accommodation bill also and realized that they charged us extra amount for the extra bed we had booked ( the amount was 2000 AMD extra from what was listed on Hotels.com ).

Surprisingly good!

Boutique hotel, in a calm place, with a little far away from the republic square or the crowded places, which makes it better. The balcony’s view is superb. The receptionists are amazingly friendly, you would really feel home with this hotel.. I would go back here again!! One thing I didn’t like about this hotel is that they posted pool picture, I thought they had, but they don’t have! Anything else was very good.

Beautiful accomodation with nice staff

Me and my boyfriend travelled to Yerevan and stayed in the hotel for six nights. The check-in was very quick and we were welocomed warmly. The room (Standard Double Room) was very spacious, lovingliy furnished and with a beautiful bathroom. It felt like coming home. The hotel was perfectly cleaned. The hotel is located in a very quiet area on the hill and it has a breathtaking view from some rooms and the terrace (unfortunately not from the terrace of the restaurant). All in all the staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the breakfast was not that good as we expected (on basis of the other reviews). Maybe it was not that lavish because we were almost the only guests in that time. The hotel is also not located in walking distance to the city centre (3km), but the hotel pays a taxi once a day to bring you to the city centre. It takes around 10-15 minutes. To come back you receive visiting cards with the direction written in Armenian for the local drivers. This is very helpful. And a taxi ride is also very affordable (around 1000 AMD~ 2 €). We can really recommend this hotel for travelers who want to relax , a bit away from the hectic and busy city centre which can be very loud by night. Believe me you will then not regret your stay in this hotel.

AC doest work properly. Room temperature cools to 32 C at best, on a almost +50 C summer days. So don't count on sleeping at night, especially since they do not provide fan. I was refused anyways. Same situation with mini bar refrigerator, wifi speed and water pressure in a showers.

Un hotel a 5stelle mascherato!

Albergo fuori dal centro in posizione elevata, raggiungibile solo con auto. In compenso bella vista sulla città ma sopratutto eccellente qualità generale dell'hotel, paragonabile ad un 5stelle. Recentemente rinnovato con standard qualitativi migliori della maggior parte degli alberghi europei. Cuoco a disposizione per la colazione. Da provare il ristorante annesso.

nice hotel bad location

this hotel is pretty cool and good for chill down but the location is 3 km far from center and the taxi drivers are always confuse with the location but if you what go there use gg app it's like uber app you can take taxi and it's cost under 1000 AMD if you want go for romance vacation I recommend or with friend because it's a little cheapest than 4 stars hotel in center.

Pass this one by. It's not worth the hassle.

I was supposed to stay at this hotel for 2+ weeks. I actually stayed 4 days. Plus: 1. Super nice hotel, beautiful layout, with solid wood floors, in-room balcony and view. 2. Bed was very comfortable. Room amenities and shower / sink facilities were superb. 3. Hotel has a French kitchen, chef and staff. Had dinner in the restaurant one night; food was excellent. 4. Staff are welcoming, warm, and proficient, with one exception. Overall, facility, room and staff were very committed to a nice stay. Negatives: 1. Hotel is a HUGE distance from Republic Square in the center of town. Taxi drivers did not know how to get from downtown to the hotel. 2. Hotel sits on a high hill; it is not possible to walk to the city center. 3. Hotel pays a taxi twice a day for drop off only in the city. 3. I paid for free cancellation and withdrew from the hotel. I found another in the city center $15 more in cost but well worth it. 4. For the last few nights, I was the ONLY guest in the hotel. 5. A front office staff member did not know how to calculate Armenian Drams to Dollars (divide or multiply). His error was considerable and I corrected him. He seemed clueless until the assistant chef (who stood about with nothing better to do) helped him out in Armenian. 6. A few staff speak English, but most don't. Most don't know French either despite the hotel's name and its French restaurant. Recommendation: Don't stay here; find a better placed hotel near city center.
