It was alright...
Our stay at Scallop Regent rooms was alright - not terrible but not amazing. Firstly, the location of the rooms is great, less than a few minutes walk into the old town, with plenty of restaurants surrounding. It also included the much needed aircon. However, the room wasn't especially clean (shower was a bit grubby, as was the mini-fridge and under the bed), with quite a lot of ants roaming around. I also wouldn't call it an apartment, more like a room within an apartment complex with a (very) mini fridge and kettle. Lastly, the room door let in alot of noise, meaning you could hear everyone coming and going (especially housekeepers in the morning) which was rather annoying. Overall, it was an average stay. Great location, but let down down by a few aspects. Unfortunately we probably wouldn't stay here again.
