What you can expect

Start with pickup at your hotel at 9:00 AM and travel up the Sumatra Highway to the Mount Leuser National Park. Enjoy a stop at the small town of Binjai. Continue through vast rubber and oil palm plantations until you reach Bukit Lawang.

Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the Orangutan Care Centre, before starting your trek into the jungle of the Mount Leuser National Park. Explore a trail running under the shade of rain forest trees, with rewarding scenic view across the landscape.

Finish your hike back with the apes of the Orangutan Care Centre, before hopping back in the vehicle for your journey back to Medan. Sit back and relax, knowing you'll arrive back at your hotel at approximately 9:00 PM.
