On this tour, we will start by crossing the beautiful mountains of Salalah and enjoying the landscape before stopping at Wadi Dawkah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 40 km north of Salalah. This is the main place where Boswellia sacra trees can still be found and frankincense is still harvested to this day. After that, we will proceed to Ubar, the lost city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 180 km north of Salalah in Rub al Khali (the Empty Quarter). The city is famous for being a land port for frankincense trading at ancient times. After that we will drive another 28 km towards the empty quarter desert to enjoy red sand dunes and watch the sunset on the top of the dunes in a very panoramic view. After that, if you choose the overnight option, we will take you to a Bedouin camp for dinner, stargazing, and time by the bonfire. You will be given a private tent for sleeping in the camp until the morning where we have a breakfast and go back to Salalah. For sunset option will drive back to Salalah after watching the sunset.
