As COVID-19 infections still stalk the city, we have increased our hygiene consciousness and carry far higher expectations on the sanitary standards for hotels. Besides the temperature check and supply of hand sanitizer, good hygiene standards and extra anti-epidemic measures have also become key considerations when choosing a hotel.

Taking into account that guests might worry about hygiene during food delivery, L’hotel Island South has “hired” three robots, namely Genie, Gena, and Genius, as waiters. Food orders are placed inside the robots and by simply typing in the correct destination, they then automatically head towards your room and present you with delicious meals. The whole process is contactless so that you can enjoy the hotel’s delicacies with peace of mind.

Dorsett Wanchai Hong Kong

Dorsett Wanchai Hotel uses the Ecolab’s Disinfectant Cleaner 2.0 to clean and disinfect all guest rooms and the air-conditioning systems. Each guest room is also kept vacant for 48 hours between. As an additional precaution, the COVID-19 test kit by Prenetics is available for purchase 24/7 at the reception, with results available within 24-48 hours with a daily laboratory cut-off time of 5pm. Coincidentally, you can also find an AI vacuum cleaner ‘Whiz’ that can deep clean carpets in the hotel.

Harbour Grand Hong Kong

In addition to alcohol-based handrubs, the hotel uses the AQUA PRO+TECH full body disinfection spray for all guests and staff. It is made mainly with advanced technology from Japan and does not contain alcohol, harmful chemicals, MIT and preservative.
