Your third day begins with a hearty breakfast at the yurt camp, energising you for another day of adventure. We’ll then depart towards Karakol, with our first stop at the breathtaking Skazka Canyons, also known as the Fairy Tale Canyons.

This unique landscape features stunning red rock formations shaped by nature into castles, animals, and other whimsical forms. The area offers trails for all levels of hikers—whether you prefer a leisurely walk with fantastic views or a more challenging 1-hour hike to a panoramic vantage point overlooking the canyons and the lake. Your guide will assist in choosing the right trail for your comfort level, sharing insights along the way, and helping you capture incredible photos of this magical setting. Just an hour’s drive from Skazka Canyons, you’ll arrive at the lush Barskoon Gorge, a stunning green valley adorned with rivers, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife, including sheep, horses, and yaks. For those who wish, there will be an opportunity to swim in the lake, so don’t forget to bring your swimming clothes! Next, explore the fascinating Ruh Ordo Cultural Centre, a unique open-air museum blending art, religion, and history. Your guide will walk you through its captivating exhibits, explaining the rich cultural significance of this iconic site. Finally, visit the Cholpon Ata petroglyphs, an ancient open-air gallery of rock carvings dating back thousands of years.
