Zoom at Anantara is the latest establishment to join the heady heights of popular rooftop bars in Bangkok. With fantastic views from the 40th floor of the JC Kevin Sathorn Hotel, it offers a different perspective over the city, and covering the entirety of the roof, this open air bar and restaurant has plenty of spots to relax. The food served here is modern French with an Asian twist.
The 360 degree view is a major selling point for Zoom at Anantara, and the restaurant is cleverly laid out to allow guests to make the most of it. There are two levels, with the large polished rectangular bar and dance floor in the centre. At either end there is a terrace that has a lounge feeling to it, with comfy sofas and low tables. Every seat in the house allows you to look down over Bangkok, with the most popular spot being in the direction of the evening sunset. From 21.00 a DJ plays lounge house tracks and every other Wednesday it’s smooth and sultry, thanks to a famous Thai saxophone artist.
