You can change into your wetsuit there and safely store your belongings at our premises. On the beach, we begin the surf lesson with a short but important briefing about the local surf spot, surfing rules, and safety procedures. Next, we warm up and go through the basic surfing techniques, including stand-up exercises on land. In the water, we make the most of the waves by applying the fundamentals and practicing how to stand up. You’ll enjoy a real surfing experience under the supervision of our certified instructors. We work with all ages and all levels—from complete beginners to advanced surfers.

First, you will meet your private surfing instructor at the surf school, where you’ll be welcomed and introduced to the equipment. After choosing your wetsuit and board, we’ll head down to the golden sandy beach for a short safety briefing and warm-up session by the sea. You’ll begin learning the fundamentals of surfing, starting with how to position yourself on the board and practising the pop-up technique on the sand. Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to take to the water! For the next hour, your instructor will guide you step by step as you practice paddling, standing up, and finding your balance on the waves. With personalised one-on-one coaching, you’ll progress at your own pace and feel the thrill of riding your first wave to the shore. Thanks to the Algarve’s long beach and waist-height waves, conditions are perfect for beginners and intermediates to enjoy a safe and fun surf session.
